Not even four months of 2012 and so far not the best year. Too many things on the go. Some things are suppose to be happy but with all the issues the happy things are not that good. Building a new home is suppose to be fun but so far it is more stressful than enjoyable. Rhonda's birthday came and went, well I screwed that one up completly, no excuses just screwed up and no way to do it over. Working on it but not the same thing and I hope she can forgive me. Our Dog Ben passed away on her birthday to top that one off. Rhonda's mother was miss dignosed with an Aneurysm (glad it was miss diagnosed). Rhonda also started a new job hoping they are understandable, as My mother has not been doing well and recently has been diagnosed with stage 4 advanced pancreatic cancer. She has been battling a few other issues and lost alot of weight preventing treatment. Received a call earlier and it may have spread to the brain. Waiting on Cat scan results. Been tough on my Father and the next few weeks is going to be real tough for him. Sure would be nice to get some news that is not negative. Brad

I'm getting really frustrated trying to add a cup holder on my '83 Royale. There just isn't any handlebar real estate sufficient to the task. I saw where someone had screwed one into the lower fairing, but I'm reluctant to go that route. Does anyone know of an alternate solution?

I have an old HP Pavaillion computer that the only thing I have done to it is add a memory card. Well, my internet provider Comcast has a free download of Norton antivirus. I decided last night that I would try it and now my computer is really screwed up. It takes about 5 minutes just to download the Comcast homepage. Then, to go on any site, like VR, takes several more minutes. I have rebooted it several times and it does not matter. I am at work now and when I get home I am going to see what I can do with it and am open for any suggestions. I am not very computer literate, so any instructions need to be pretty basic. I need to upgrade the whole computer, but that is not on my budget priority list right now. Thanks for any help. RandyA

Wondered if anyone caught this. They're looking at possibly going higher than that. Ran across this article.... http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/energy/2009-04-16-ethanol-epa_N.htm If I have to depend on "them" to determine that higher ethanol levels won't damage my vehicles (particularly the bikes), I have but one question......When it is shown that they're wrong, missed something, screwed up and/or my equipment is damaged, who's gonna pick up the tab for the repair??? (yes that is a totally rhetorical question)

OK folks, I just did a software upgrade here. Let me know if you see anything screwed up.

Well, I still don't have my parts, but I went to see the dealer saturday and he showed me his phone calls for the week. He has been calling the "painter" 40 times a day! The dealer called the local police and is looking to gain entrance to the guy's warehouse to get the parts. So, the dealer is getting screwed too, as he has told me that if we don't get the parts he will purchase replacements. I feel better knowing that two of us are getting screwed -- even if I'm getting the worst of the deal. I'm going to Kokomo this weekend for the Vietnam Veteran's reunion so it'll be off of my mind for awhile. I'm just so disgusted, I went to the local Harley dealer and I may make a switch just to get riding again and put it all behind. I'm pretty pissed, but not much I can do at this stage, but wait. I'll let y'all know what happens. In the meantime, thanks for the support and I'll be riding one way or another next season. Later, Chuck

how do these come off? they appear to just slip on and be held in place by the springs but I cant get them loose. Are they screwed on? or do I just need a bigger hammer?

Did you hear they are going to start putting screens up at the Gas Stations and showing adult films. this is so that when you are filling up you can watch someone getting screwed as you do!! Sorry couldn't resist.

I made a run to Walmart to get some beer about a mile from my house. I was leaving the parking lot in front of the entrance and a car came flying out of the parking isle. They would have it me if I didn't lay it over. Luckily I was going slow enough it didn't see any damage except scrape up the guards. I'm ok. The worst part though is they looked back and saw me on the ground then hauled butt out of there. I got a police report but they said there wasn't anything they could do because of the private property and them not actually hitting me. Thankfully my beer is OK and still cold now that I am home. Now when I idle in neutral I can hear some "transmission" noise. If I pull the clutch it goes away. Any ideas? Is something screwed up?
