    After looking at this article ... http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=10518 and viewing this picture... [ATTACH]42497[/ATTACH] My friction plates are not lined up like that. I did have a new clutch basket installed about 4 years ago. maybe the mechanic messed it up? I noticed that on mine that are scattered all over the place ,there are some plates with one notch and some with two notches. any input on this guys? Thanks, Jeff

    Hi Everyone, did some searching first but didn't find the answer so here I am. Opened up my repair manual and everything I've read out here said the same thing. The stator plug (3 wht wires) is behind the engine left side, manual said it was behind the side cover. It ain't there. I've looked just about everywhere I can look, got parts scattered and still no plug. Any thoughts? I'm thinking I've got a rectifier problem, I'm reading high voltage (about 17)at the battery, although it is new (Odessey and it came fully charged according to their specs) and it might possibly be charging up. I just want to check the stator windings too.

    75 MPH + winds. Three bikes sitting in driveway. Picked them up and Lil'Red is on bottom "Parts Bike" in the middle and "Ugly" on top. Nice sight when I got home. Shield is busted off "Ugly" Other damage unknown. I looked at them from about 10 ft away and left them there I was so disgusted. Will have to wait on enough having enough sons/ son-in-laws here to pick them up off each other the way they are stacked togather. Got to put shingles back on roof first. Seems something just don't want me to ride. I'll get more later got to get back to work gathering stuff up. Scattered everywhere.
