wednesday i traded my beloved 86 venture for a 2000 v-star.. (straight up) the 86 was just to heavy for me now that i have lost 240 pounds( and muscle).. the v-star is nothing like my venture.. nooo sirr eeee.. but i sure feel safer cause i can reach the ground and handle it better.. both bikes had 24000 miles..

I am posting my motorcycle for sale here on the forum. I will take reasonable offers. I hate not being with a motorcycle but it's safer that way. Reasonable offers accepted. You can see it in the classified. It is a great running motorcycle.

I am seeking information in regard to putting my back brake up onto the handlebars using a hand control. It was mentioned in a past post by someone who said the hand control was used for racing and by handicapped riders I believe the company was SPEIGLER?? Can anyone help me with info --as it is going to be safer if I can move the back brake and then have that room to tuck my bad foot in close and get the leg in closer too:happy34:

Interesting article in today's paper. Says hour for hour, riding a motorcycle is safer than riding a horse. Now there are probably a lot of variables not mentioned, but thought it was kind of interesting.
