I'm looking for more sound out of my 09 RSV. I've read most of the posts on various slip-ons, but am not seeing much on adding Rush slashcuts. From what I've read they look promising. Anyone have any experience with them on a RSV?

Need to adjust my steering head over the winter and although I read the tech article I'm still not clear on it. I have the tool and bike is on the lift... Anyone free to assist? No rush.... can't ride with the snow/salt. Just like to see how it is done once.

Well, I now have my bike up in Massachusetts, going to be here till September, looking forward to riding here in the North-East, Trailered the bike up here from Fla, two trucks and two u-hauls, left on Fri, couldn't stand it today, let my deckhand drive my vehicle, so took it off the trailer and rode it the last 200 miles, my buddies truck was pooping out, and it was just a beautiful day, TILL- some a*#hole alomost ran me into the wall on the inside on 195N in New Bedford, Mass., came across three lanes, talking on his cellphone, never even saw me, yep, nothing like a rush of adrenalin, and your heart pumping to make you feel alive, reminds you why you have to stay on the ball constantly when riding, if I had been daydreaming it would have been all over. So now, here I am in Wareham, MA, getting excited about the summer to come, and LIFE is good.:cool10::cool10:

Hi, I have a set of new tires to put on my bike but of course the roads are snow and ice covered but I would like to get this done before the spring time rush. How difficult a job is it to remove the wheels for a mechanically challenged person to perform? thank you in advance Chris

I've owned a lot of scoots that top end was reached But the FJR its how fast it get there and its no comparision to a Crotch rocket, and I dont even want to try one either Today I reached the max what the throttle can give "Oh what A Feeling What A Rush" How can you look at the speedo at that speed ,ll I noticed that the dash Lines was belonging Solid ths was done one a old abondoned highway Yes The Deer and Moose were on my mind when I was travelling at that .. whats scary is the adrealin Rush I enjoyed it I really like travelling fast on a motorcycle, Boat and Snowmachine Yet I wont travel over a 100mph on a car ...." GO Figure???

Ok...so what is the purpose of a crotch rocket on the streets and highways? I've been passed once again in my lane on the highway by some crotch rockets, while I was doing 105km's in a 90 zone. What's with that? Are they sold at the dealerships to specifically race on he road? Are they for the dreamer that pretends he is part of the AMA? Is it so he can attract attention for everyone to see him speed? Is it the ultimate adrenaline rush, fun and need for speed? I suppose everyone has a reason and I'm glad that we have the freedom to buy these things, but what is the purpose? Endangering someone's life is not a rush. I would like to live a long life without someone's help to end it sooner. End of rant!

Several reasons: *I love fishing *a go anywhere scoot *gas mileage *the ability take the corners *It all in the mind.... it feels and handles like a crotch rocket *The front fairing to me resembles a Ninja fairing * its a Fun Bike to ride *It gives me a Adrelalin RUSH And it can keep up to you Big Boys( Legal Speed) The question Now will my body handle the Long distances touring

I leaving for VentureWest IV next Sat morning (the 9th of Aug) from Regina Sk. (about an 90min drive directly north of the Montana/NorthDakota border) and am probably going to be on highways I-15 to I-86 to I-80(basically thu Montana to idaho, to nevada to california) down to Sacramento eventuallly getting to SLO. Has anyone travelled those recently that knows of anything I should be aware (or beware) of. I would like to avoid construction if at all possible but its summertime and its just one of those things thats going to happen. I am also taking my time and not in a rush so if anyone knows of some places that are a must see along the way please let me know. Or if you know of some good spots to pull off to stop for the night and camp, I would appreciate if you would share that. I should add that I will be taking the SUV and trailering the bike down to Sacramento and then riding from Sacramento south to SLO Heres a link to the route I will be taking http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Regina&1s=SK&1a=Sherwood+Drive&1z=S4R&1y=CA&1l=50.47702&1g=-104.66385&1v=STREET&2c=Sacramento&2s=CA the map is at the bottom of the page Thanks for any input Brian:cool10:
