    If anyone has replaced their stock windshield from the RSV and want to get rid of it, get in touch, I need one bad, and Oh by the way, dont ever, ever, ever use any of that headlight lens restorer on your windshield, I did and it has ruined mine, cant even see through it and it wont come off, have tried everything including a buffer, just one big blurred peice of plexi now.

    Today I cut down my stock windshield to 12". I was very happy with the height on my test ride, I looked through it but could still sit up higher and look over it for the rain. I then decided to try and buff the scratches out of it and it seems there is a film on it that I ruined. Now the shield is useless. Has anyone had any luck looking through the show chrome shield, is it clear enough. Kinda frustraited now, but I have no choice but to find a new shield.

    After only one week of owning my RSTD, I have now COMPLETELY ruined a perfectly good motorcycle by riding it in the RAIN!! Sure it was only a couple of little drops, but I know that holding out any hope for resale (esp. on craigslist) is now totally pointless.

    Does anyone have a cruise control brain they wish to sell? Its a black box behind the dash about 3"x4" part # 1NL-85830-00. Mine I just found out is ruined from my crash rebuilding the bike keep finding little things damaged.
