Leaving for Hawaii tomorrow. I booked the flight on United's web site on Jan 2 and paid extra for exit row seats. I printed out my confirmation and I was seated by my wife. Now I look at the seating chart on the plane and somehow my seat was moved to an economy. When I called customer service I spent two hours on the phone getting passed around and was finally told they have to deal with it at the airport as another passenger is seated there. Now I booked it early because we wanted those seats and when I booked it only a few seats were taken. My question is, does anyone know what the rules are or does anyone work for United that can explain. It's a 9 hr flight, United wants to move me to a non exit row seat, I told them I bought that seat and paid for it and received confirmation and all they want to do is move us to a regular seat.

I installed a cigarette lighter on my 93 Royale. I inserted an inline fuse between it and the battery connection and used a 30amp mini fuse. Every once in a while it pops the fuse, some times two fuses in a row and then maybe 4 or 5 trips before it blows another fuse. ANy Ideas on how to keep from blowin fuses? Thanks BIG HACK

Well the local multi-brand bike dealer here had their big night show for Yamaha. Had a few Yamaha factory reps on hand and FREE HOT DOGS! The hot dogs turned out to be the highlight of the night. LOL! Just sayin'. Not a RSV in sight........a T-D, a row of V-Stars, plenty of crotch rockets and a 2010 V-Max. So I finally got a rep cornered and posed the question........Will there be a RSV in 2011? Got a shrug. He had no idea. But he did say "if" there was we could expect a choice of two colors. Like I expected more? But on the bright side........I got to park my butt on the V-Max. I likey! Felt like a mini-bike after the '84. Would have been nice to fire it up and go for a spin but that wasn't going to happen. And back in the used row they had a '89 Venture with 40,000 on it for $4,998.00. Burgundy with ghost flames. After a good look it looked like the new paint was there for a reason. But the hot dogs were good. Free. Always good. So much for the big event.

I've been wanting to do this trip for the past five years. But, every year when the time came I didn't have all my ducks in a row so I couldn't go. Who ever made up the "ducks in a row" rule was really starting to get my goat. I even started believing that getting ducks in a row was an excercise in futility . I just knew it was an impossible task to complete. Like stacking BBs, Programing the VCR, getting the C clip out of the end of the clutch master cylinder, logging more miles ridden or states visited than Wildhair39, understanding what really goes on in the mind of a woman, perpetual motion, staying ahead of the current technology cutting edge. But before I could carve it in stone that it just simply couldn't be done those ding dang ducks marched right up and stood in a row. My real estate projects all got finished sold and closed, all my promises and commitments got satisfied, the scoot is ready after spending the last two weeks tearing her apart and putting her back together.....AGAIN, the trailer is packed, time, money and inclination, check, check, check. I guess those silly ducks just wanted to humble me further by proving me wrong,,,,,AGAIN. So the only thing I can do now is humbly get on the scoot and head out for Sturgis. Which is exactly what I'll be doing before sunrise menyanna. STURGIS, SOUTH DAKOTA 2008 OR BUST

I just picked up a Mio DigiWalker C310x GPS, and I am very impressed with it so far. Mio's new models are coming out so they are having a fire sale on this unit. I picked mine up from Circuit City for $199, but I have seen it as cheap as $159 at Comp USA. This unit has a built-in MP3 player and will support up to 4 gig memory cards. I have already unlocked the system to act as a full blown PDA, and I'm in the process of creating custom menus that will be easily accessible while moving. I have included a screenshot of the first menu page that I have created. I still have 2 more pages to create and I should have it just the way I want it. Here is a link for anyone that's interested. http://www.miogps.com/US/products_c310xfeatures.htm Screenshot Icons: Top Row: GPS Software, GPS Settings, Unlock Tool, Movie Player Next Row: Photo Viewer, Calculator, MP3 Player, and Next Page
