Well thanks to Don, I've learned how to get on this thing. So if all goes bad blame Don. While not new to bikes and riding I am new to the dresser deal, and so far the wife love the venture! I was born ridding and raceing M X and was a factory rider for bulltaco, so you know how old I am. We have owend allmost every make of bikes in the last 30 yrs. In 02 I bought a V* 11 cust , it was cheep and I wanted a new bike. The plan was to buy a real bike ( as my H D ridding buddies say) the next year or so. Well that was 30k miles ago and the 11 had been cut and choped and hot roded and painted , you know the deal. Now I have a 15 K in a 02 11 V* that I would never part with! So with fixing up the11 to the point it was not a long distance bike we had a chose to make. The wife was rideing a 06 11 V* But we keep eyeballing the dressers out on the road. and starting shoping. We looked at all the bikes and keep comeing back to the venture! So in 07 we bought a 07 bule @ black R S V and have not put less then 500 miles a day on when we hit the road! with over 3K on it the first summer ( picked it up in july and winter hit in nov.) Can't wait for spring. Sorry for rambilg on , but don't worry about reading this fast cuse I type slow! Would like to hook up with outher riders in Idaho Thanks for your time . Thankes Kevin @ Nancy P S we are restoring a 1962 ca72 honda dream that we'e owned for28 yrs. and are looking for parts. Thanks again Kevin

November 17 and still ridding!! Gota just love it. Any suggestions for a good set of snow tires for the old girl!!! Rode today and loved it!! 0C at 8am on my way to work. Roads were dry and standing water was still liquid. 4C when I left for home. Going to safely push it as much as I can. My goal is drive it at least once a month. With the weather we been having it may be possable.

Its 7degrees C and the sun is shinning. So this morning I replaced the fork springs and took off the anti-dives and with the new brace it was a nice day to take a ride!! The bike preformed above expectations. Thanks to Condor's super brace and Skydoc's springs and anti-dive covers, this is going to be a good summer for ridding. Now, can any one tell me where I can get a supply of free time and gas money!!!!!

Ordered a pair of diamond gusset ridding pants. They are lined with Kevlar in all the right places. They fit good and are very comfortable so i asked the wife if she wanted to order a pair for her. She asked me to hold off a while, so i waited. next she wanted that old leather coat that didn't fit any more. Well, being creative as all ways, she took the largest pair of jeans she had, took them apart and sewed patches of leather in all the right places and then put them back together. they look great and she says they are comfortable. She saved me more than $100 for more stuff for the RSV. Thats my girl! Just thought some might like to use her idea.

Does anyone have some technical drawings of a fork brace for a first gen? I have a friend at a place in Ottawa here that would like to make me something interesting. I need a good fork brace so why not use state of the are metals!! I could give him the brace of my bike but that would stop the ridding and that would be crazy!

Since I have had my hip and knee replaced last year and doing great I might add. I have decided to sell my Sidecar rig. I have been ridding the 2001 I got 2 months ago and just haven't been ridding the hack much. I'm sure I will miss it when its gone ( hard to beat on a trip ). Its in the classifieds if anyone is interested.

I am venting here, I just bought a 2004 venture, and one of the harley guys asked me when I was going to move up. I told him I was not ready for a Goldwing yet. Then he said, No I mean up to a harley, to which I replied, that going down, not up. I get tired of that attitude that I are ridding something less than they are because I don't ride a harley. It use to be a joke, but I have began to take it personally. just venting Gregg

well there will be no ridding for me. I went and broke my left hand at work yesterday. the doc. is telling me that i am looking at 6 week or moor. i just can't stand the thought of not ridding for 6 weeks. so we'll have to see what i can do to take my mind off ridding. see y'all George C. P.S. this one-hand typing sucks too

Anyone else going to Port Dover for Friday 13th ? My son's will be along with a friend from work. NO we will not be ridding as good chance of bad weather and it is raining right now and around freezing temp. Wanted to but don't want to take a chance(long season to go) If we have time we might be able to stop in to Carl's in Brantford on the way back. I guess we could be like some other bikers and sneak bike in on trailer and just fib about ridding there. Hope to be there around 11:30 or so
