Well we finally made it. With all the issues we had earlier this year, Rhonda and I finally got moved into to our new home. IT was not easy and we both went through a lot. I want to thank Brooke and Matthew for moving all the stuff we have and not complaining too much. And of Course Rhonda for putting up with my crankyness over the last few months. (Love you) Brad

Arrived at home about 6 tonight. No incidents except for Rhonda running out of gas in Harrison. Guess she ran a little hard chasing Dale (not becuase of his bald head ). Rhonda lead most of the way and done real good. Not sure why I always see the police when I am speeding. Had a great time, so thanks to the Volunteers for setting up the ralley, and too everyone else for showing up. Ride safe. Brad

Leadwolf, Tinkerbell and 93 Venture, for the impromptu meet and eat. Rhonda and I headed down their way on Firday and met up with them Saturday morning. We went down to look at a Bike for Rhonda, that 93 Venture went and looked at for us. After being somewhat disatisfied we had a nice lunch, and Darrin recomended heading to another Yamaha Dealer. Kevin phoned ahead and setup a test ride for Rhonda. When we got there they were ready for her to go for her test ride. We did not end up getting a bike, but we did find out, that the bikes Rhonda likes will have to have a few modifications for comfort and safety. Kevin guided back up to the highway and we headed home. Again thanks and we had a good day. PS I did not get one picture. Brad

Thanks Goodness Well I boo-booed again and I am very sorry. Today we went for ride, actually heading down to Carl's with Rhonda, my mother in law, sister on law and 4 yr old niece. The fog was horrible, and we never made it. The fog was so bad at times it was tough to see the end of the hood. As I was driving south I was looking for the stop sign as I was familiar with the road, and by the time I saw the sign it was too late, car would not stop, and I entered the intersection. We collided with the another car. Our right front corner hit the left front of his car, and he ended up in a ditch which dropped about 5 feet, and I was spun around. Rhonda, my mother in law and myself were all put in ambulances and sent to the hospital for xrays. Rhonda hit her head on the side window and has a good goose egg on her head also pretty sore in the chest. Her sister also banged her head, not that bad but is also sore. Rhonda's mom has a sprained wrist, and some muscle aches as she is 70 yrs old, but you would never know it. I have a cracked rib and some sore muscles. MY niece got a nice teddy bear from the fireman and she is fine. Even the 4 people in the other car are okay. Thanks to Brick (Darryl and Rhonda) for coming to get us at the hospital and getting to the accident scene quickly to remove some of our valuables. And I am very glad no one was seriously hurt. Pics of my car attached and this is the one I got only 3 months ago and have managed over 12,000 km on it, dam I liked that car. Also one pic of the car we hit. BRad PS: And Swifty when offering my wife a place to stay safe, do you think she deserves more than the cot. Oh yah another bloody ticket for running a stop sign.

Started out cold and never got any better. Swifty stopped by about 10 and was not sure about the weather. It was 5c (40f ), and with the wind in places it was cold. About a half hour later we stopped for gas and he wanted to know if it was too cold or if we were wanted to Venture further. Rhonda said if he goes home we were still going for a ride, so of course he continued on. (I am sure he did not want to be out-done by Rhonda). As we riding along he follows a car into a small Private subdivision, and the houses were amazingly large and there was a lot of them. On the way back out just before we get to the road the gate closes, locking us in. We all look at each other and wonder how to open it . No buttons and no way to open it. Figured there was a sensor or something, but nothing. Couldn't ride around the gate, because of the rock gardens, that Rhonda wanted us to ride through. Anyway I walk around to the entrance and start dialing buttons on the intercom, untill someone answered and let us out. We were gone for about 5 hours and stopped for a warm lunch. Then made a quick stop in a parking lot, so Swifty could play. So I was on Highway 401 today (in the car) and it was pouring, and I was passing a transport, and those tires were spraying so much that you could not see anything not even the road, for the whole length of the truck and trailer. SO THE QUESTION IS. If you were on the bike DO you pass quickly ? Drop back and hope he pulls off ? OR What would you do ??? Rhonda and I were discussing this and not sure what I would have done, as it was bad enough in the car. MOst likely I would have backed away, but I would have hated to follow that Truck. BRad

Anyway it is just so nice that there are so many people, willing to help others here. The help comes in so many ways, Mechanical, opinions, caring words, encouragement, etc.... (this list goes on). I would like to thank Gary N for helping my wife get my Birthday Present. During our last meet and Eat she asked Gary to help her get a pair of lower wind deflectors. Instantly he said yes and had them shipped to Brad and Lonna's place. They came in just before Brad and Lonna came up for the Hair trimming, so they were brought to Hals place (thanks also Brad and Lonna). Where Rhonda was able to get them home. I know I have no pictures that is because Gary told me to put my tools away so they are not mounted yet, untill he comes to help Rhonda put them on:sign20:. Thanks goes out to all. Brad
