I see several sources for the ChatterBox DNR Touring kit at around $85.00. Anyone using this? Seems like an economical way to go if it works OK. The reviews I've looked at seem to say it's OK, but I trust the responses here more than on the sales web sites. Motorcycle Superstore has free shipping right now too.

Which drink holder do you have (and it has to save mpg too ) I know I probably won't get a lot of responses right now due to MD, but gotta ask while I am still thinking about it.

It may be early, but Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Things are going to be hectic with family gatherings so I want to thank everyone, especially Don for this great web site. When I look back on this year and think about all of the wonderful responses for this site when I crashed by bike in Oct. of 2007, I think this is a pretty good place to be. I hope all of you have wonderful gatherings of family and friends. My best to you all and ride safe.

I'm currently in Holland on business and came across a beautiful '83 Venture Royale for just over GBP1k (that'd be roughly double in $US I think). It has 60k kilometres and appears unmarked and complete. It has a Club sticker which suggests it's been owned by someone who cares; it's being sold by a dealer. Now, I ride a K1100 and have to confess that I'd never even seen one of these before (quite rare in the UK and Europe) but to you who know about these things: 1) is the price about right 2) what should I look for 3) what are the strong / weak points? Any responses gratefully received - I have to say that I have fallen in love with the look of this bike but don't want to throw money away! My plan (assuming I go for it) would be to use it as a second bike - a fun curiosity rather than a hard-driven daily workhorse. regards and thanks to all Steve

OK, trying to locate Kuryakin ISO grip installation experiences. What do I type in the "search" field to find these, and not get 40,000 inaccurate responses? Tried a few options, but none of them worked. Got a bunch of irrelevent (?) stuff. any ideas?? tks

I'm in the trucking business and have been in quite a few states this last few weeks and have watched the warm weather bring out our fellow riders! BUT, has the rules changed over the winter and I didn't get the memo? More and more groups of two or more have the lead bike on the right hand side of the lane (right). I ask someone on the radio and got one of those moronic responses, "I'll ride any damn way I want too". I'm thinking he just wishes he could ride and if he ever gets to he wants to be a Hells Angel and be rebellious. But, seriously, has anyone else noticed this?

Well, yesterday I bought a new (used) vehicle. 2004 AWD Olds Bravada. Wow this baby is loaded. Never had a vehicle with so many bells and Whistles. Heated Leather Seats, Driver info Center with all kinds of things. Its gonna take me a couple months just to figure out how to use everything. Coming from a Ford Focus, so its nice to be back in a bigger vehicle again. I should be able to tow a trailer also, which is something I have wanted to be able to do. Wife and I have talked about how it would be nice to take a Winter getaway with the bike. QUESTION Has anyone ever installed any of the chips/modules that claim to increase horsepower & mileage? If so, what is your opinion or experience? Do they really work? Thanks for any responses. Jay

Yes it's about a second gen... I just recently puchased my 2004 Midnight RSV. I was wonderering about the handling of the bike and that was answered in previous threads. To say the least I am getting a new set of avons tomorrow. My questions are: Is there a fix for the low speed wabble? I have notice a whine in the drive tran. is that normal? Thanks for all your responses.
