A few weeks ago, I asked for your prayers for an unnamed member. Well that member is our own one and only Black Owl and he is still in need or our prayers. Russell was admitted to the hospital before Christmas with complications from pneumonia. Things got really bad and to be honest, a lot worse than he really wanted anybody to know. He is doing better now but is still hospitalized and has a ways to go. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. -
Chris Hammon wanted to join our FB page, but I did not see him listed as a VR.Org member. I sent him a message on his FB page requesting him to join VR.Org. first and then he can become a member on our FB page. I accidendently blocked him on FB, and I am not sure how to undo what I did . If anyone knows Chris, as a member here please accept his request on FB. I could not find his name in our community. Thanks Eck

I've posted this before. I have a niece Taylor Paige Woods that gave blood at school months ago. Most of the time since then has been in a hospital with a infection they can't nail down. She was just rushed to ICU with oxygen levels in the danger zone. This was a good kid trying to do good. It shouldn't work like this but sometimes. If you are the praying type she could use a few words and just good thoughts couldn't hurt. Come on Taylor, we got a ride to take.

Would somebody mind taking a photo and a measurement for me? I'd check my own but the bags are off and before I install them back on I'm going to make a little modification. Plus it's cold and dark out in the garage. I need to know the distance (of the gap) between the front of the saddlebag and the back of the bag guard/frame... in the vicinity of that little horizontal ridge. In the area where the yellow arrow is pointing in the following photo: Thanks folks!

If you wear a leather vest and choose to put a LARGE back patch on it with territorial "rockers" under the patch you are in violation of the Motorcycle Protocol of any 1%'er Club which may be located in your State. Make no mistake about it....These 1%'ers take this SERIOUSLY and will confront you. If you are lucky they will request you take off the vest....There will be NO 2nd request forthcoming....There will be no discussion/debate from them regarding your RIGHT to wear whatever you want. Violence is the norm because this violation of their Motorcycle Protocol is a direct insult and show of disrespect to their Club. I'm posting this in the best interest of ALL members of this Site. I will NOT debate this issue on this Forum. To each his own regarding your individual actions. Regards and respect to all......Boomer

Hello to all, Just picked up a 2001 RSV and would like to swap out a couple of parts that are on the scoot: 1) It presently has fish tail exhaust system - would like to go back to a stock pipe. Anyone have a set? 2) There is a Corbin seat on the bike - would like to also go back to a stock seat, both rider and pass. Anyone have stock seats? Willing to trade, purchase, etc... I was made aware that the link to request a VR Award was not working. I found that if you used the link in the left menu, it worked OK but if you used the link in the menu bar at the top, it would not allow you to request and award. I have now resolved that problem. Thanks to all for the heads up.

Got this error when checking my preferences. The requested URL /forum/member.phpu=1401 was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Is it just me???

A buddy of mine is heading to Indy this week and mentioned there was a nice MC store there. He couldn't recall the name. Apparently, it is like the Iron Pony (Columbus, OH), but not quite as big. Can anyone in the Indy area help with the name of this place. I know this request is rather generic and may not include enough info. However, I thought I would run it up the flagpole and see if anyone knows. Thanks. RR

Jan's bike was wrecked last summer. I've found a bike on Ebay that we are interested in getting but would like to see if someone could look at it for me. I've emailed the seller with some questions and a request for an address. Anybody help me? Dave

Poor baby...Came home from work today and guess whos big green eyes are peeking out from under the blanket?....Yep Taters caught the flu from me...As much as I would like to get back at her for all the shots she threw at me this past week when I was sick..I just cant do it...Gonna take care of her....Gave her chicken broth, got some ginger ale for her, and medicated the heck out of her.....that should due for now...Funny thing,..I asked her if she needed anything and she asks me to do only one thing..."CHECK TO SEE IF I HAVE ANY NEW FRIENDS REQUEST".... Go figure!!!!!!! Even when shes sick she gotta rub it in...
