Hello all, I just did a ride review on a Klim F3 off-road helmet that is Dot approved for on-road and it was fine at freeway speeds. I know that our friend @cowpuc doesn't need no stinkin helmet and has kept himself and his lovely wife Tip safe for a million miles. But for the rest of us, wear a stinkin helmet! Here is my review of this quality helmet. You will notice in the photo I am on a BMW 1200 GS and wearing a whole bunch more Klim Gear. The bike is a Twisted Road rental ( review to follow) and the Klim Jacket and pants will get their own review shortly. Thanks for reading - but only if you are interested. Okay all your Venture Rider dudes, here is the latest from the big island down under................ WE IS COMING !! Went into the Travel agent and booked the flights and the car rental Woo Hoo!! Arrive LAX on the 17th July 2015..... So see you at the International Rally folks. :cool10:

Going to visit my Grandkids in Illinois for Thanksgiving and I am considering renting a luxury Car or Minivan to make the 12 hour each way trip a little more comfortable (would ride but my daughter and her boyfriend are going too). I have never rented a car for pleasure so I have never had to deal with all the diffrent add ons. I have heard that my insurance will cover some damage and that credit cards will cover some items but I am not sure guess I should give them a call. The other thing is which rental companies do not charge per mile if you leave the area. Enterprise charges $.25 a mile if you are going further than the adjoining states. Any advice/tips are appriciated.

The wife, myself, brother and son have decided to take a trip over into Louisiana. Natchitoches to be exact. We have been several times and have always complained about the hotels being to far from the town center. Well, owning a few vacation rental homes we decided to check into a home. For one night four of us get to stay, 1 block off the square and within easy walking distance of all the food and "bars, The real reason we want to be close!" http://www.vrbo.com/288807 Really, how sweet is that. We usually miss the action and set around a dark dank hotel altering our mental state....now we can pay extra in a bar....with a few additional people. Heading up to Jefferson Texas after and could only find a monster home with a 160' private slide?

I was wondering where is everybody staying at Meramec State Park in MO. It's going to be here before we know it. I was looking up some of the sites on the computer. I came up with this one below, but I don't know if this is the correct place or not. I also want to know if the dates are the same as what I copied. August 23rd - 25th. Quick question: Say I purchase a home for $55,000, and I turn around and rent it for $550 per month. Neglecting taxes, insurance, etc, how do I calculate my annual return rate? Is it as simple as (550*12)/55000=12% ? I would appreciate the formula. Trying to figure out what rental rate I would have to charge to achieve a particular interest rate. I know that market conditions determine the rental rate, but I am an engineer, and I like numbers I want to know what rate a savings account would have to be to accomplish the same rate of return.

I'm planning a possible trip to see a friend in Washington, In. this weekend. This is a meeting point for both of us and we were thinking of a possible motorcycle ride since i'll be on mine. (he doesn't have one YET!!!) Does anyone know of any rental places around this area? We would like to see some of the countryside while were there! Thanks, Big Mike

I just got a call from someone in the department of motor vehicles in Alaska. One of my insureds from here in Georgia was there and they were going to revoke his drivers license because he didn't have proof that his auto insurance would extend to a rental car. I got them to agree to let me fax a letter to them stating that his insurance would extend to a rental car. What is up with that?
