hey all, Been away a little bit so just saying hi. Me and renate been running around like the proverbial chicken with no head the last few months. We,ve been looking at homes while the market, the interest rates and the tax credit were still around. Finally found what we wanted and closed on the 5th. Not going to bore ya with the details but we got a helluva deal on a great home. One extra that came with the house was a 6 person hot tub on the deck so if anyone ever needs to soak the bones after a long ride and your close to Zimmerman MN give a shout to me or Renate. Till then, almost riding time up here. Can,t wait. al

yea, this is it. Another year has gone by. Hard to believe. Is it just me, or do the years go by much faster every year. I hope you all had a wonderful christmas and Santa got everything you were wishing for. As for me, I made my New Year resolution, (like I do every year) I'll give up smoking!!!. Been looking at riding over to one of those island/tourist destinations for a few days next year. Washington Island Wi or Mackinac Mi. Both require a ferry trip. Never had a bike on a boat. Anybody know how stable my baby will be [my bike, Renate can look after herself]. Anything i should know or do before i show up at the dock. Just curious, thanks. al

this is my official apology to any members who were looking at craig,s list for bikes. i found a 2003 RSV w/9005 miles, two tone gold&maroon, brand new rubber and runs like a dream for $5,500. i know it was being looked at so i sent him $500 before i saw it in person{ sometimes you just gotta close your eyes and jump} bottom line, me and renate took the bus to mississippi{26 HOURS} got the bike, and had a great week riding back thru the ozarks, a day in branson, another at osage beach, then home. stopped in waterloo ia at the isle casino and renate walked out with more than our weeks expenditure,s. we,re back now with our new bike and now that i think about it, i,m not that sorry. see you on the road. al and renate
