From Tim Horton’s coffee cups to ‘RED’ bikes go faster (and make no mistake it ‘is’ the ‘RED’ bikes) you folks are the best. I've gone through and continue manage very difficult times and have been away from this site for some time now. My absence has not been by choice but rather it’s been necessary for me to focus my energy elsewhere. Sadly, nor have I been riding but I hope that will change this spring. I can see that things here are still going strong and that sense of kinship, a family of sorts, is still among you all. As equally admirable and most refreshing, you haven’t lost your sense of humor and are as informative as usual! Laughter is the best medicine and friendship the gift of life! Thanks Abdul for your concern and thank you Don for restoring my membership. Hello to all of you I’m glad to be back! Charlie

Sometime back some one posted a simple quote on types of riders..Like There are those who ride, those who talk about riding....ect.....Anyone know where I can find it? Need to quote it to some who need refreshing on another site...Thanks for the help...

Refreshing the dessicant

There is an article in the First Gen Tech Library on how to dry the desiccant on your first gens. Here is the link: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?p=9009#post9009 I just added a little tidbit of information to that article though that I received from another member here. He reported: "I came across the mention of refreshing the desiccant for the Class and the high cost for the stuff from Yamaha, and I wanted to mention that you can get it relatively cheap from any place that sells dryer for hearing aids. It is the same stuff and you can get a whole can of it for under $10." He told me that he found it at Walgreen's.
