Just wondering if anybody has received there rebate on the Avon tyres purchased from April 1st 2011 to May15th 2011. I sent all my stuff in and have yet to receive anything back. Bob

JakeWilson.com had a price increase on all tires. Today, I ordered Avon Venoms and paid $12 per tire more than when I looked earlier. Saving Grace, Avon has a $25 per tire rebate to 15 May 2011. Attached is the Rebate Form. MIKE aka Uturn

Well I was wondering if anyone who sent in the rebate has received the MasterCard gift card back from Avon yet. Sent mine in well before the deadline and havent seen a thing from them. I even called and left message and nothing so far. I thought I would check and see if anyone has received theirs yet. And as a side note, when I called I ended up getting a hold of Mickey Thompson Tires. Guess they are associated with Avon now. Thanks Rick F.

For years I've been interested in Geothermal units. We bit the bullet and are in the process of having it installed. Last week they drilled three 175 foot wells. This week they bored into our basement with the main line and hooked the three wells together. Next week the Geo unit goes in. It has been fun to watch each step. The best news is we get a 30 percent tax credit and to a 20 percent rebate from our utility company! We are saving 1/2. People ask what our payback will be - well, our old system needed to be upgraded so for almost the cost of a conventional heat system we have Geothermal.

Ron is a rebater. If that is a word. He finds these rebate offers on different brands of beers. Last night,he found that his rebate on Bud Lite Lime was dated June 30. On most of these rebates you have to buy another item. This one was buy $10.00 worth of chicken and the beer and then you get the rebate money. Ok, so we buy $30.00 worth of chicken because he is rebating for our children too. and two cases of beer. We put this all in the bike. Next he finds out we need to buy 5 other cases of beer for another rebate offer. So we take the bike. Two cases in the trunk, one in each saddlebag and I carried the fifth one. What's the most you have ever carried on your bikes? Oh I forgot to mention, I had two brake lines in my hands from my son in laws'truck, and a large hostas that my daughter wanted me to plant at our house. People were staring, but so what. Yama Mama

I'm not sure what kind of prices you guys are paying for the Zumo 550 but GPScity has them for 583.70 after 100.00 rebate... sounds like a decent deal to me...

I've found that SPOT is offering a rebate which is good for a free unit when you sign up for 2 years of service. I've had a modest interest in one of these units for some time and this rebate is about to push me over the edge. However, the reviews I've been reading online tonight about the SPOT service don't look too favorable but it is hard to tell if people are using the unit properly. Does anyone here have personal experience with the SPOT system and if so, what are your thoughts? Thanks, Dennis
