Below is a link to an article in the local paper where a Ohio State Patrolman endorses the use of a headlight modulator to make bikes more visible. He doesn't specifically use the term modulator but he does describe the effect. Copied in part here. "As a motorcycle driver, you need to drive more defensively than you do when you're driving a car," Randall said. The sergeant said a number of newer features enhance safety. "There are some headlights that almost look like they're flashing as they come at you," Randall said. Other enhancements include brighter turn signals and brake lights. "It's unfortunate that you have to spend the extra money, but in the end it's worth it," Randall said. http://www.mansfieldnewsjournal.com/article/20120331/NEWS01/203310314/1002/rss01 Gary

i am going to put on a meet at the hub in arkansas. i just talked to randall at the hub and he said these dates were open with no other big events scheduled. july 29th, 30th, and 31st. randall has the meet dates on record. now if i can get vacation for that week which i should know by tomorrow, these dates will be written in stone, and folks that want to attend can start making reservations. i will have that information posted. hope this works out cuz i'm really looking forward to it. we had such a good time at the international at the hub last year, that this will probably be my annual arkansas event instead of my st. charles meet and eat, as long as i can still do it. bill :clap2:

have had some questions about beer. if you want beer or hard liquor, bring your own. it is a dry county. if you can't bring it do to space we will make a beer run. there will be no shortage of beer. here are the rules on drinking at the hub. you must not walk around with an open beer. you have to drink it out of a cup. randall specified this and we don't want him run out of business. randall said he will also furnish us with beer if we want. all he asks is follow that simple rule. remember, drink the beer out of a cup, when outside of your room on the hub premises. also i'm sure we will have some confusion here and there. no matter how much planning we did. nothing ever works as planned. if anyone needs help or has a problem see me or one of the committee members and we will do our best to help. this is all the members meet and if we all work together it will be a winner. see you all there. bill :clap2:
