I have read enough about Raising my 2005 RS Tour dlx. to make me dangerous. It appears to me a Bike Jack (ala sears) will hit the pipes before frame. I am thinking a centerstand is right for me. I have had several bikes with them and LIKED It. I am not someone who can cough up $300.00 for one. What year Centerstand from an older bike do I need AND Is someone currently making the adapter parts???I do my own work and am somewhat Mech. inclined but dont really want to fab my own adapter bracket as I am not a Machine shop kinda guy. I Think this bike is Amazing for its weight. Lag in cruise control kicking in normal? Speedo moves up a little notchy, normal? bike has 14,000 miles and is a 2005 model would you Flush the brakes and clutch (hyd.)? Tune it (plugs) Change Thermostat? Many Thanks in Advance bf

I spent last Saturday at the camp loaded for Bear. Hoping for the best but prepared for the worst on Halloween weekend. The norm is local rif raf upsetting bus houses and raising hell. I wanted to make sure my camp was secure plus my first gen,ton truck, and the John Deer is still there. I was setting out on the porch Saturday evening with the Mossberg 500 loaded nearby and my front line defense Venture our 20lb snauzzer and his backup Big Rig his 12 lb sidekick. When all of a sudden here they come. Tresspassers dressed in black and meaning business. Two strangers walking across the lawn on a mission. The dogs raising hell ready for action surrounded those two Mormon Missionairies in short order. I LMAO had to call off the dogs and everything.

Does the leveling link Mod make the rear lock up sooner than it already does in stock trim? Seems it might since raising the rear would shift some weight forward. Thoughts? Thanks, RSTDdog

I sent a check with all of the contact information in the envelope I never received a raffle ticket or any confirmation my ticket was in the hat. Just curious if I didn't win who did. I hope you met your goal for fund raising for a good cause.

RSV 2002 but with 2007 seats. My problem is I am too short and cannot see over or around my husband. Does anyone have any ideas to raise the passenger seat? Most of the advise I get is ride my own. I have been a passenger for over 30 years and just got my license this year. My little Honda 250 is just a get around. Maybe next year I will get my big bike. In the mean time, any ideas for raising the seat? This is my first post, so hope put it in the right forum!!! jj

I just took down a pool in my back yard and I now have a huge empty space. After much thought we decided to extend out current wood deck and add a hot tub. Soooooo, since im much older and more feeble than when I was in my youth, I was wondering...... Does anyone want to have a good old fashioned deck raising party/meet and eat here?? Or am I just beating a dead horse?? The ground area will be prepped and batter boards up before this project gets underway. It's not a fancy deck, just a ground level 14X22 deck, built off of the old deck. Got some white gravel that also needs to be moved around the yard too. Im looking to do this sometime in January. Food will be plentiful.........beverages too...... Any takers??
