A small group of us (10) went white water rafting on Thursday while others went riding to various places......I think we had the best time, we laughed the whole time. Next Vogel we will be going again, it was the best time I have had in a long, long time. I think the pictures speak for themselves......... Jamie and Dana rode the bull over the falls, normally only one person rides the bull, but VR members aren't normal by any stretch of the imagination.......:rotfl:

For those interested in going rafting on Thursday at Vogel here is a little info. We will be going to Paddle Inn Rafting in Bryson City, NC. The rate will be $28.00 per person tax included on a guided raft, these rafts fit 8-10 people. We dont need reservations right now, but if we have a good idea of how many we will call them when we leave Thurs. morning. FULL RIVER TRIP 2-1/2 Hrs. SUN - FRI SATURDAY PEAK/HOLIDAY Fully Guided (Guide in your Boat) $28.00 * $33.00 * No Extra Charge You can check out the rafting co. at this link. Nantahala Rafting Nantahala River Rafting Nantahala Whitewater White Water Rafting There will be sign up sheets at the registration table for all the rides on Thursday. There will be a ride to Helen for lunch for those not wanting to raft. And if there is enough interest a ride to Dillard house for lunch. In mid May, my girl friend and I are riding from Madison, Wisconsin to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. We plan on going through Kesaqua, Iowa and Camdenton, Missouri on the way down. In Arkansas we plan on going white water rafting and staying in cabins at some of the state parks. We will then link up with a group of riders from Madison over at Mountain View. Anybody have ideas of where to go rafting, and things to see and do on the way. It would be fun to meet some of you who are in the area. I will be riding my RSTD and Linda will be riding her GW. We sort of like to stay in quaint hotels or B&Bs. Thanks in advance for any and all input. I will try to return the favor when you get to Wisconsin.
