My steering head has a center-detent that just gets worse as the miles pile on. Can I knock the bearing and race out, rotate and put it back in?

A little girl asked her Mom, "How did the human race appear?" The mom answered, "God made Adam and Eve and they had children, and so was all mankind made.." http://us.mg4.mail.yahoo.com/ya/download?mid=1%5f498826%5fAM4Nw0MAARF8TtrPlwxbQ3CN5so&pid=2&fid=Inbox&inline=1 Two days later the girl asked her dad the same question. The father answered, "Many years ago there were monkeys from which the human race evolved." http://us.mg4.mail.yahoo.com/ya/download?mid=1%5f498826%5fAM4Nw0MAARF8TtrPlwxbQ3CN5so&pid=3&fid=Inbox&inline=1 The confused girl returned to her mother and said, "Mom, how is it possible that you told me the human race was created by God, and dad said they developed from monkeys?" The mother answered, "Well, Dear, it's very simple. I told you about my side of the family and your father told you about his."

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TN3MFLwlsEg&feature=player_embedded]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TN3MFLwlsEg&feature=player_embedded[/ame] One of the oldest and most respected motorcycle races in history has been the Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) race. The race is held on the Isle of Man and was part of the Motorcycle Grand Prix World Championships until safety concerns caused it’s removal from the series in 1977. To preserve the race’s status, the Isle of Man TT races became part of the TT Formula 1 Championship from 1977 to 1990. From that point on the Isle of Man Department of Tourism conducts the race as part of the Isle of Man TT Festival. The race started in 1907 and has always been a time trial format on public roads. Between 1907 and 2009 (at the end of 2009 TT races period) there have been 237 deaths during official practices or races on the Snaefell Mountain Course.

I'm familiar with the Race Tech Imulators, but ran across this info on another board, and found it very interersting. Anyone here gone this route?? I'm thinking the Ricor Valve, plus the ease of installation, along with a set of Progressives just might be a great way to go. They are pricy but not much different from the Race Tech's..

http://mail.aol.com/33456-111/aol-6/en-us/mail/get-attachment.aspx?uid=30875120&folder=NewMail&partId=3 One day while he was at the track playing the ponies and all but losing his shirt, Mitch noticed a priest who stepped out onto the track and blessed the forehead of one of the horses lining up for the 4th race. Lo and behold, that horse - a very long shot - won the race.. http://mail.aol.com/33456-111/aol-6/en-us/mail/get-attachment.aspx?uid=30875120&folder=NewMail&partId=4 Before the next race, as the horses began lining up, Mitch watched with interest the old priest step onto the track. Sure enough, as the 5th race horses came to the starting gate the priest made a blessing on the forehead of one of the horses. Mitch made a beeline for a betting window and placed a small bet on the horse. Again, even though it was another long shot, the horse the priest had blessed won the race. Mitch collected his winnings, and anxiously waited to see which horse the priest would bless for the 6th race. The priest again blessed a horse. Mitch bet big on it, and it won. Mitch was elated.. As the races continued the priest kept blessing long shot horses, and each one ended up coming in first. By and by, Mitch was pulling in some serious money. By the last race, he knew his wildest dreams were going to come true. He made a quick dash to the ATM, withdrew all his savings, and awaited the priest's blessing that would tell him which horse to bet on. True to his pattern, the priest stepped onto the track for the last race and blessed the forehead of an old nag that was the longest shot of the day. http://mail.aol.com/33456-111/aol-6/en-us/mail/get-attachment.aspx?uid=30875120&folder=NewMail&partId=5 Mitch also observed the priest blessing the eyes, ears, and hooves of the old nag. Mitch knew he had a winner and bet every cent he owned on the old nag. http://mail.aol.com/33456-111/aol-6/en-us/mail/get-attachment.aspx?uid=30875120&folder=NewMail&partId=6 He then watched dumbfounded as the old nag come in dead last. Mitch, in a state of shock, made his way down to the track area where the priest was. Confronting the old priest he demanded, 'Father! What happened? All day long you blessed horses and they all won. Then in the last race, the horse you blessed lost by a Kentucky mile. Now, thanks to you I've lost every cent of my savings -- all of it!'. http://mail.aol.com/33456-111/aol-6/en-us/mail/get-attachment.aspx?uid=30875120&folder=NewMail&partId=7 The priest nodded wisely and with sympathy. 'Son,' he said, 'that's the problem with you Protestants, you can't tell the difference between a simple blessing and last rites.'

This is the 2010 MotoCzysz E1pc, a race bike built by a tiny Oregonian company focused on pushing the limits of electric performance to the absolute max. It packs 10 times the battery capacity of a Toyota Prius and 2.5 times the torque of a Ducati 1198 into a package that looks like something out of a 24th-century Thunderdome. Tomorrow it will race in the Isle of Man TT, the toughest motorcycle race in the world. The technology at work is so advanced, so unprecedented, that we may be looking not just at the future of motorcycles, but of all electric vehicles. http://www.popsci.com/cars/article/2010-06/inside-story-motoczysz-e1pc-worlds-most-advanced-electric-motorcycle

Pinion bearings failed, can't get the outer race out of the rear drive unit.the outer race is still in the housing. It would appear that this remaining race has been staked by what ever has marred the housing around the periphery of that bore which the outer race mates to. It is my assumption that the needle bearing into a (blind hole), (terminology?) would be of a slip fit. I may just be beating a dead horse trying to fix it, but I can't ride, what else can I do while I watch for one on ebay! Any one got a used pumpkin for a second Gen they want to part with?

Was wondering how many venture riders will be going to the race this year. I am leaving Friday May 22nd from the Houston area. I have season tickets and go almost every year, this year will be the first for riding the 05 RSV. If anyone is riding to the track, would like to join up for the ride. Will be staying with my sister in Indy on the northeast side.

Foremost Insurance Company gave me two free passes to the race so I went up yesterday and watched the race. First time seeing a race in person. Really enjoyed it. It's awesome to see how quick those bikes accelerate down the straight away.

When I found out that they were going to run the Indy Mile flat track races this year after an absence of nine years I just couldn't keep from buying tickets right then. I later discovered that the Eureka Springs rally is the same week. Just my luck. I remember watching this race when I was much younger and dreaming of how cool it would be to see it in person. I'm not too concerned about being cool anymore, but I've just got to go to the race. Don't think I'll see any of my childhood stars, but the race is the same. I hope everyone at the E.S. Rally has a great time, even Wild Bill and Alan H. Hope to see you all a little later in the season, maybe the East Texas meet in October. Enjoy and have fun!!
