Got the new battery in, and after a short charge she started up..........that takes a load of my mind. Now I am having problem pumping up the rear brakes, cant get the fluid to the rear caliper, I can hear it pumping air into it, but no fluid, I tried every trick I new and nothing, did everything short of tearing the cylinder down, but it was working perfectly before I tore the bike down for the repair. I am open to suggestions................PLEASE!!!

Got a question about the fuel tank on my '91 VR. The problem is I don't have the owner's manual. I'm rather anal about performance and I'd really like to know what I'm getting for fuel mileage. To do that I need to keep an accurate tally of how many gallons I pump, but I can't do that if I don't know when the tank is actually "Full." For example, I can "fill up," stop pumping, and then watch the fuel level drop slowly. Another squirt and I get the same thing. I know there is an over flow tank involved here, but I have no idea when to stop pumping gas. FWIW, I filled up last night and the bike is getting approximately (Oh how I HATE that word....) 33 MPG around town. This is riding 2-up with a Voyager Kit.... Any help will be greatly appreciated

Well, I now have my bike up in Massachusetts, going to be here till September, looking forward to riding here in the North-East, Trailered the bike up here from Fla, two trucks and two u-hauls, left on Fri, couldn't stand it today, let my deckhand drive my vehicle, so took it off the trailer and rode it the last 200 miles, my buddies truck was pooping out, and it was just a beautiful day, TILL- some a*#hole alomost ran me into the wall on the inside on 195N in New Bedford, Mass., came across three lanes, talking on his cellphone, never even saw me, yep, nothing like a rush of adrenalin, and your heart pumping to make you feel alive, reminds you why you have to stay on the ball constantly when riding, if I had been daydreaming it would have been all over. So now, here I am in Wareham, MA, getting excited about the summer to come, and LIFE is good.:cool10::cool10:

I bought the speed bleeders for the brakes and clutch. I have a 04. Anyway I must have done it wrong when I first drained all the fluid out of the clutch before I put the new speed bleeder on. After I did that, I filled the reservoir up and tried pumping the clutch handle with the speed bleeder cracked a half or full turn and nothing happens. What did I do wrong?
