Reading some old articles on clutch whine and basket changes... bored at work so out of curiosity I looked to see what pricing is. Thought it was interesting that the "I" basket applies to ATV's, boats, lawnmowers, as well as the Venture and RSTD. 4XY-16150-09-00 ("I" basket") PRIMARY DRIVEN GEAR $331 @ boats.net $302 @ partspak.com $285 @ boatpartguys.com $342 @ yocracing.com (Yamaha of Cucamonga) $299 @ lawnmowerpros.com "H" basket was 26H-16150-00-I0 Makes sense they'd use it in multiple applications but quite the variance in pricing. I didn't list the higher prices I saw ($385, suggested list $405).... but $100 difference in price between top and bottom. When looking for parts by Yamaha part numbers.... extend your search past bike shops and you might save some $$$$. Unless you have lots to throw around (in that case throw some my way !)

Ok I've lost my list of favorite online vendors when my pc had to be replaced a couple months back. Who do ya all recommend. I'm looking for OEM parts. Checked the local dealer with poor results on pricing besides the fact I still have to order all my items. That just sucks so may as well order all I need online anyhow. Had already checked Yamahapartshouse.com. Thanks in advance, Larry

i have a 2007 RSTD which i have installed a Hoppe fairing and fabbed a detachable tour pak bracket and box. the factory windshield and lowers and the pillion backrest are in near perfect condition, i am considering selling these parts and was curious to what some of the member here thought about the pricing of the parts? any suggestions would be appreciated. i know to purchase new the rear pillion and all factory components would run about $825.00 which seems ludicrous but that's what the going price is !!

Hey all! My lovely bride got me an iPhone for my b-day last month. I love this thing! If you happen to have one, I just found a great app for BikeBandit. Load you bike in and you instantly have access to part diagrams, part numbers, et.c with pricing. You can even place an order for parts from the phone. What'll they think of next?? If you have an iPhone, what are your favorite apps?

Squidley, I understand that you sell an adapter plate for mounting the RK mufflers on the RSV headers. What is your pricing ? Is there an advantage to using the plate over using a p-clamp ? Thanks for the advise as well. Robert

www.flatoutmotorcycles.com has the best pricing for slider diaphragms. $55.53 on website as of this morning. That is 20-30 bucks less than anyone else. Web order only, plus shipping. Their counter guys work off of comission, so if you order over the web, that's what you're saving. I live 10 miles from there. But if I order over the counter, they cost me $72.00!
