Just received my latest edition of Road Runner and it had a review of the 2013 Star line. The only change I picked up on was the possible deletion of the standard cb/radio/intercom. The article mentioned that the bike comes pre wired for those items. However, the photos clearly showed both antennas present. Dennis

'cause we are not going to make it back to the states this year. I had a pre trial conference on Monday with my lawyer and barrister and the other side has finally acknowledged that they have some liability!! My legal team do not want me leaving the country this year. I have another pre trial in six weeks [30th April] Legal team for Main Roads Dept. want to send me to see more Dr's and an Occupational Therapist again. They are trying to say that I can go back to work!! which reduces my claim. I'm in this till the end... as it's the rest of our lives!! So sad we wont get to see you.....BUT........ I have already submitted the paperwork to the shipping agent for the trike to go to the U.S. in 2013 So, you need to take photo's of M&E's and rallies so we can enjoy it all long distance

My shock shipped on time and arrived yesterday from Works. Followed the instructions on the other Venture site and in under an hour i was test riding it. Other them removing the right side saddle bag for visability, i didnt remove any other major part. A swivel socket and extension bar did the trick for the top bolt and the old crusty shock dropped out. New one fit right in there with mild persuassion. Easy job. (Another big thumbs up for my CarbonOne lift adapter) I measured the sag or whatever its called and it seemed to be pre set. Initial ride was great but after 2 months of no shock anything would have been an improvement. Im sure this thing will work out great. bTW, Hagon Shocks called me this week to tell me they finally got the heavy weight springs in stock. Too late for me but i was going with them based on reviews, one year longer warranty and a better price. Hagon might now be an option if your built like me (big boned )

Had to go in today for some pre admission tests for my back surgery. First was simple EKG for the heart. Was told something was not quite right and they had to set me up with another type of heart test. (he said the name but I have no clue to what it was) Asked him what was wrong and he did not want to talk about it until the other test is done. Talked to his assistant Kathy after she made the appointment for the test and she said the test is for blood flow. Said they don't want to loose me during surgery. So that test is next Monday and if all is well they will continue with the other pre addmission tests. Sure gives me something to think about for a week. This getting old is just no fun anymore.

Several of the body parts off the 84 VR parts bikes that were spoken for are now available again. If any of you are still needing body parts they are being offered at a pre Christmas discount since I'm trying to raise a little extra Christmas cash. All of the parts will need to be repainted since the previouse owner painted black rattle can spray paint over the original red/ dark red factory finish, but, are otherwise in good shape. Front fender left top front fairing fake gas tank cover with gas cap door left and right side covers 84 style no louvers left and right saddle bags pre 86 style removeable front fairing brackets are available and are extremely straight:thumbsup2: So step right up and

Seems this subject is getting beat to death, but I have a question about the clamps. I just got a pair of 2005 RG take offs and know I need the brackets from Squidley (when he gets some more made), but what about the clamps. I haven't taken the stock mufflers off yet so may be a little pre mature. Why can't you use the original clamps with the RG mufflers? Also should I drill out the center baffle or the front one and why?
