Ok, if we are going to try to meet up, we need to give some detailed info on where we are coming from and what our plans are. My hopes at this time are: Leaving Johnson City, Tn at about noon on Thursday the 2nd and ride to Portsmouth, OH up US 23 to spend the night. This would be thru eastern KY. From there, on Friday morning, go up US 23 up to Dayton and hit I71 and up 58 into Oberlin. RandyA

It's the 25th Anniversary of Challenger. The loss of 7 lives that we all witnessed. Commander Francis R. Scobee, Pilot Michael J. Smith, Mission Specialists Judith A. Resnik, Ellison S. Onizuka, Ronald E. McNair and Payload Specialists Gregory B. Jarvis and Sharon Christa McAuliffe The last image of them all were there smiling faces as they headed on to the shuttle. We lived in Portsmouth VA at the time I was home with the kid (she was only 2 back then). So do you remember where you were that sad day when you heard or saw it? Margaret

There's a poker run in VA on the 13th, Sunday. Registration from 9:30 - 11:30 starts at the Lazy Horse, Cedar Rd in Chesapeake. Registration $10 and if you're two up it'll be $20. This is a fundraiser for a 4 yr old girl who has a brain tumor. The proceeds go to the medical expenses. Vernon Ave. Portsmouth (Port Norfolk near terminals) Tidewater Motorcycles Inc. 4324 Godwin Blvd. (58 to suffolk, take route 10 exit, 4 miles turn on Godwin) Breakfast menu's are available at Registration.
