I was on you tube looking for music and I thought of the movie easy rider that I saw when I was a senior in high school. I accidentally found a video that is so cool. If you go to you tube and type in "Henryk Rynkowski Easy Rider" you will see the video. It starts out with a harley davidson starting and then you see Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper riding in the movie. I think Henryk Rynkowski is polish and the writing on the video is in polish. My question is does anyone know how I might could get this music. I sure would love to have this song on my mp3.

Here are the engine cases painted black. I am leaving the rest of the engine original. The cases will show more that the engine anyway so no need it spending more time painting. I am not quite finished with the chrome covers, need to fill in the painted areas and polish some more. Note one says 1300, the cover from my 83 had the chrome peeling so this one was much better. Has anybody tried to polish the RSV front rotors ,after removing the chrome covers, for a different look . Maybe sand ,polish, and clearcoat 'em. Or will they just rust? David

Just about finished with the deburring, sanding and polishing/buffing of the lower fork legs, the 4 beer cans and the lower tree. What a job!! Grinding all the casting marks off of the lower tree and lower fork legs, sanding with 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1500 paper. Its a hell of a lot of work, especially since I did most of the finish sanding by hand. No wonder shops charge what they do for polish or chrome work. Its a killer. All thats left to polish is the nooks and crannies on the legs and a final buff with white rouge. I used the tripoli rouge today along with a bench top buffer. The difference from the stock, grungy, pitted lower fork legs and now is night and day. Cant wait to get the final buff done. It looks like chrome already. Tomorrow, if im up to it, ill finish the final polish and then ill post some pics. Also plan to polish up the front and rear floorboards and sand the chrome off of the pitted Barons fork bullet covers and buff them too. Maybe if im feeling energetic ill do the front wheel as well. Maybe even the R1 brake calipers too. -
Well, I had read about using Lemon Pledge on bikes at some other sites. I tried it today on the 06 RSV and behold, it worked great! I have been using Honda Spray Polish and hear that they are discontinuing it. (It worked great for me too.) I used the Pledge all over the bike including the windshield and it shines like it did when I saw it on the show room floor. Hey $3.00 a can beats $5.50 in my book any day! And it sure makes the bike smell good! I don't know if it will clean the bugs off like Honda Polish but, we will see. I also use Go-Jo hand cleaner (Creamy Type) on my other bikes windshield and it covers up or seems to remove all the little scratch marks and swirls in it that you see when riding into the sun. Just rub it on the windshield with my fingers and wipe it with a terry-cloth towel. Dog

My son was at the pharmacy getting a prescription filled and saw a can of this polish. The clerk said they didn't think too much about carrying it in the store but since word has gotten out that they have it they can't keep it on the shelf. It supposedly cleans and prevents finger prints. I used some on the glass frame of my autographed picture of Larry Pegram on his racing bike. It really leaves a shine. I'm going to try it on my bike. Just wondering if anyone has tried it.

Thanks very much for all the help I got in getting my 88 Venture running. I had bought this bike as a non-runner. A friend put me on to it since he knew I was looking for a 88 Wing and he had a friend that had medical problems and needed to get rid of his Venture (I had never heard of a Venture). Clutch did not work so rebuilt master and slave (I would never of believed that the slave would come out of that little hole if it had not been for the posts) brakes needed bleeding. There was a mouse house in the radio compartment. Needed a new battery. Very very bad gas in the tank. Choke would not move because of dried gas. Carbs were gunked up so I replaced every rubber part in carbs (did not know Yamaha rubber could be so expensive) I did get the diaphrams from ebay. I also replaced the carb screws with stainless socket screws. I did do the resistor thing to get the bat light to go off. Repaired the securing pins for the side covers. Replaced fuel filter and changed oil, filter and rear end grease. Changed the o-ring in the draining/running valve. Replaced spark plug wires caps and spark plugs. Got progressive springs for front. Polish clean polish clean polish clean. Got the carbs back on hit the started and started right up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sync the carbs, got new tags and insurance, got it off the work table and took the first ride. What a change from rideing smaller bikes. I was surprised how good it sounds, I thought it would sound more like a Wing but sounds more like my Trident. I took it up on the 4lane and pushed it a little when I checked my speed I was doing 75 and I was not realy pushing it. Looks like I have a bike I can take a trip on with less than 40000 miles and a total investment of about $2800. This would not of been possible without all of your help. Thanks, Ed
