Tom Phillips (tomephil) from Winnipeg, MB paid us the pleasure of an overnight stay on his way to Nova Scotia yesterday. Larry and Joyce(Carbon One and his better half) helped to welcome Tom to the Motor City, We had a good visit and went to see ZZ TOP, 3 Doors Down and Gretchen Wilson at DTE last night. Tom, it was a pleasure to have you and you're welcome back any time. I hope the rest of the trip goes smoothly, you've already had your share of excitement, eh ?

What is "everyone" using for Bluetooth communication? Is one brand better that another? Has anyone used the Chinese brands from Ebay? They're far less expensive and the reviews are positive. I use my RSV for business as well as pleasure so I need to have phone access when on the road. Don't want to miss that important call from a client. George

We had a great time. Even though there was a small snow storm, 22 (I think) people showed up. Thanks to all, it was a pleasure seeing some of you again and meeting others for the first time. Well done Karl.

What do you use your bike for other than the pleasure rides we all like so much? We all take the weekend ride to meet friends, eat or see the sights. Some of us take our vacations on the bike. But how many of us utilize the bike for something other than a strictly pleasure cruise? Although any time I'm riding it's a pleasure, sometimes its more utility/work oriented. Show us your bike in an other than 'pleasure' situation. Folks, it is my pleasure to announce that Diamond R Accessories will be attending and setting up a booth at the VentureRider Rally in Marble Falls. Allen and Patty have been generous supporters of VentureRider.org since I started the club and it will be a real pleasure to have them at our rally. They will be bringing a nice selection of accessories for our bikes so if there is anything you have been thinking about adding, it will be a great time to do so.

Wife was on the computer and called me up from the basement about to kill me for about $800.00 worth of PayPal spending......wasn't me!! Just got robbed by some unauthorized transactions.....had to file the appropriate complaints....who knows...probably be weeks before I can think about getting my money back. If they could find this lowlife and give me about five minutes in a room with him, I would be happy. Man, there are a&^%$s out there that get pleasure out of ruining someone's day.

met up with squidley and sweet nothing, this afternoon, here in victoria! also had the pleasure of meeting a newer member, from Corpus Christi, by the name of hans! can't recall his screen name, just now. heck of a nice guy. as far as brad and lonna are concerned, they turned out to be EXACTLY, the way i had them pegged! just a pleasure to be around, oh and IF you rate high enough on lonna's list, you get a cheesecake!!! go ahead, ask me how i know! lol got a couple of pics, but i haven't downloaded them yet. i actually got too hot, standing out in the parking lot! :stirthepot: just jt went and checked , Hans' screen name is "straight pipe"! didn't get to visit with him much, yet, but he lives a LOT closer to me , than brad! john
