Pioneer Motor Sports have been Fantastic hosts at Inter. Rally
dingy posted a topic in Watering Hole
Pioneer Motor Sports have went way beyond what any business would have been expected to do for us. They opened up the repair shop so several of the members could work on replacing Brown Angel's rear shock which had an issue. Way after hours they let us into shop to use lifts & tools to get him back on road. BongoBobny donated a shock from his parts bike, which was brutally tore apart in short order by a couple of us for the organ donation. Pioneer donated a lot of stuff for the raffle also. They lets people camp there, demo rides, list goes on & on. Keep these people in mind when you need to order something. 12220 Olean Road Sardinia, NY 14134 (716) 496-6000 www.pioneermotorsport.com/ Gary -
A big thank you for a great night and day. The ride Tuesday to the finger lakes was very scenic and planned out with precision. My wife and I really enjoyed having Hot Sex with you guys at the fire Monday night. Excellent job on the shower at Pioneer. Lots of space, great water pressure and all the hooks for clothes and shelves for shower supplies. I was able to buy a progressive or zero loss air pressure pump at Pioneer for my shocks, so hopefully I can now do a little more work myself or even help someone else who may need it. Scary thought me being able to help someone with bike concerns. At least I will have a tool to lend them. I hope the rest of the week is as much success as Tuesday was. Sorry we couldn't stay for the BBQ, but we had to hit the road.

Let me make a long story short.....a couple of days after my mini rally held at Pioneer Motorsports, I stopped in to see michella to check with her and see that all was well with them and that we would be welcomed back again next year....Pioneer had another shindig going on and there was a raffle for 3 new motorcycle tires of your choice...Michella asked me if I put in for the raffle...I told her I just purchased a new tire from them 3 weeks earlier and that I wasn't interested..After a little bickering and badgering back and forth she (michelle) filled out a slip with my name on it ....that was that..... Today I get home and I have a new Elite 3 tire sitting at my front door...moral of story....I don't know what it is ,but I am very happy that a friend and fellow member took the time to fill out a slip for me and entered it in the raffle...she didn't have to do that as I buy ALL of my tires from them anyhow...thank you Dunlop and Michelle from Pioneer motorsports...Now I have to buy a matching front tire as I have always run Dunlop 404 www's on my bike..... OK, I have the moral of the story....don't be such a lazy a$$ when it comes to stuff like this, you gotta be in it to win it.... or..... it is nice to be surrounded by good friends who care about you...

Thanks to Freebird wanting to make MD better each year and easier on us travelers, I was enabled by him to approach Pioneer Motorsports on our clubs behalf. Pioneer Motorsports will be bringing a trailer to MD loaded with oil, filters, brake pads, specialty items , tires, etc, etc, etc....No more trying to carry tires to MD on the back of a bike....no more saddle bags full of clumsy jugs of oil and brake fluid which can spill and ruin our clothes. Chad Armstrong would like your ideas on what items to bring . Along with the usual maintenance items, Chad will start a list of items that you may want to order or to bring and wants our input and ideas....Chad can be reached at (716) 496-6000...His mother (michella) is a member here at ventureriders and co owner of Pioneer(family business)..(you can also pm her with requests). Please check Pioneer out in our venders section. PS.. ALL MEMBERS RECIEVE A 15% DISCOUNT, JUST MENTION YOU ARE A MEMBER........Again, what would you like him to bring down????. www.pioneermotorsport.com

From everyone at Pioneer Motorsport, thank you to all that showed up to hang out with us this weekend. It was alot of fun meeting all you crazy folks! Specials thanks to Big Tom, Vicki, and Buffalo Bodnar for all of the prep. work. One of these years we will get a full weekend without rain to host this rally. Looking forward to next years rally, and I believe we will be having a Can-Am Spyder ride in the fall, but we certainly do not discriminate! We have setup alot of the local Venture Rider members in our computer system with a 15% discount, but would like to offer this to all members. Anybody interested please add me as a friend and then I can get your address and phone number to ship any parts, clothing or accessories out. Thanks again and hope to see you all in the future! Michelle, Terry, Chad, & Kyle Armstrong:thumbsup2:

Planning an all day ride from Mono Mills to Kitchener. We'll start at 9 am in Mono Mills, visit Thornbury at the far North and end at the Pioneer BBQ for dinner. I haven't got all the kinks out of the plan yet, but that is the basic idea. The country is picturesque, and the roads are great. If the suns shines we'll ride, if it rains, maybe we'll just join Swifty at the Pioneer for dinner. I'll post this on the calendar as well, so that we can get a count on numbers. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=146&day=2009-9-7&c=1

Had a great time riding this weekend as the TRA group I belong to was invited to ride in the Cokeville, WY Pioneer Days Parade. We had a great ride up and back (about 320 miles) with me on the Venture and Jan on the Sportster (Rick, the seat helped a bunch), a fun time throwing candy to the kids that lined the parade route, and some tasty dutch oven food on Friday and Saturday. I even managed to take a few pictures of the event. On Saturday afternoon, while pulling out of the motel, I was passed by three 2nd Gen Ventures and a fourth bike (didn't see what it was) They were heading south on Hwy 30, anyone from here? I'm ready to do some more Wyo. riding in September at the Roundup. Hope everyone here will think about making this trip. Beartooth and Yellowstone are two of the great rides we'll be taking. Dave

Gs51 and myself left from South Central Pa. at 8:00AM headed to Chaffee, NY for Big Tom's meet and eat. Soon after we left, it started to rain, and rain, and rain some more! We finally got to Pioneer Motorsports around 3PM, wet tired and hungry. By 4PM the rain had followed us to Pioneer Motorsports. Big Tom very graceiously offered to let us spend the night in his very nice, DRY home. While at his home Big Tom showed us his famous "Blonde Cyote" (NO, NOT Taters'!) Hopefully, tomorrow's weather will be some what drier. Earl

Think I Blew the left speaker last Saturday, so this Saturday will be work-not-ride day. Oh well. Remember someone replacing theirs with Pioneer from Wally's. I know what size, but wondered which model worked the best. Thanks, DJ:mo money:

I have an XM radio in my truck and love it. Of course I'm very interested in having XM on my Venture as well. Now I'm debating on what way to go. One thought is to buy a Pioneer Inno and connecting it through my speakers on the bike. I'm thinking that this would work nicely because it's compact and I can use it in my wifes car as well. Has anyone else done this? Pros/Cons? Thanks, Bob
