As I have posted I became a Grandpa for the first time New Years Eve and I have not yet seen my new Granddaughter. I have been sick and was planning on driving down to my sons house this Saturday to see Her and watch football. Went to the Doctors today and they did a chest x-ray and found that I have a lung infection now and Doctor said NO to seeing my Granddaughter. He did say I could go down there IF I wore a mask, rubber gloves, did not pick up the baby, and did not get close enough to breathe near her. Now what new Grandpa doesn't want to hold their new Grandchild? So got new meds and have to go back to Doc in a week and see if I get the OK to greet my Granddaughter properly. So for next weekend. P.S. For those of you on Medicare (like me) and have not refilled a prescription yet after the 1st of the year you may be in for quite a shock. One of my meds that I have to take went from a co-pay of $1.04 to $51.79. (before the 1st without insurance it was only $35.00 for 60 pills now with the NEW government improved pills they are $275.00 without insurance) Pharmacy said it's been a nightmare since the 1st because of new government guidelines on certain meds.

We recently spent $2500 on a young Black Angus bull. We put him out with the herd but he just ate grass and wouldn't even look at a cow. I was beginning to suspect he was gay, if that's possible with a bull. Anyhow, I had the Vet come have a look at him. He said the bull was very healthy, but possible a little young, so he gave me some pills to feed him once per day. Holy crap! The bull started to service the cows within two days. All of my cows! He even broke through the fence and bred all my neighbor's cows! He's been breeding just about everything in sight. He's like a machine!" I don't know what in hell was in the pills the Vet gave him but they kind of taste like peppermint.

Met with the doc today and he says no surgery at this time.... Maybe in 5 or 10 years.. Now he has a baseline to go off of... CT scans every 3 months to see how much fluid builds up,, The excess brain fluid is there, but not causing the headaches, chest pains and blurred vision... He is leaning towards migraine headaches as the issue... More pills to take.... He must have seen the look on my face and referred me to another doc to see if he confirms this... So I'm trying to get in to see the other doc before the end of the week, before I go back to work.. Thanks for all the well wishes...

Have been feeling bad the last couple of days . Last night I thought I had the flu.....fever ,chills, then sweats...every bone in my body aches and I've been light headed...I had a terrible nights sleep.....got up this morning awaiting Rockets arrival...I looked down at my right arm and noticed a red line from my finger (which I scraped the other day) extent completely up my arm and into my armpit...It was bright red and hot to the touch..... well, I still didn't feel any better, in fact I felt worse than yesterday.........long story short....a call to my dr. was in order and he insisted that I go to the ER....He was right...looks like I have lymphangitis often called blood poisoning........to think a little scrape the size of a ladybug could cause me so much trouble....well, I have a scrip from the dr. and started taking the HORSE pills this afternoon....still waiting on ROCKET...HE IS VERY CLOSE...about 1 hr away...hope these pills work fast.............
