I think my cb is out of tune. I can hear what people are saying pretty clear but everyone says they can not understand me to well. If we are sitting still and close together everything is fine but on the road it isn't. I have never tuned a CB so I know nothing about it. I do know that i have to set my squelch up high to like 18 or 20 so that I am not picking up other channels transmitting. When I ask the other riders if they hear the other channels they always say no. If anyone can help me out with this thanks.

Just wanted to say hello. Sold my Honda VTX and now have a 2001 RSV. Has about 66,000 miles with no real maintenence done to it so I'll be picking some brains on here. Sure glad to find a friendly group for this bike. Scott

The foreman frowned and said, "I have to ask you this: "Have you had any actual experience in picking lemons?" "Well, as a matter of fact, I have!" Man what a grand time. It was sure fun. The weather was excellent the food was good and most of all it was great seeing friends once again and meeting new ones. I think every one had a fun time. Nice job Don Gary (dingy) Great job on picking up a place for Friday night. The Quaker Steak & Lube, was really a cool place, we loved it. We had a great time, as you can see in the pictures below.

Been shopping for a different SUV for my wife so today we will be picking up an 08 Lincoln MKX with 9,000 miles. She's been driving an 07 Pacifica but we got a good deal that we couldn't turn down. We drove the Pacifica for 2 years and will get 2,000 less than we paid for it. Also, we are getting the MKX @ way below NADA book.

OK folks, today I went to look at an '89 Venture. I didn't expect it to be very nice but I was pleasantly surprised. It is an '89 with 44,000 miles. It has some extras like Markland Highway Boards, Nearly new Metzler Commander tires, Drivers backrest, Chrome belly spoiler, etc. It is actually an extremely clean bike. Then I got to looking at it and talking to the owner and discovered that it has been converted to an SS model. That means that it has VMax cams, VBoost, etc. Now I can't afford to keep it but felt that I could make some profit on it so I bought it. I will be picking it up tomorrow morning and will take some pictures and put it here in the classifieds for about a week before it goes on Ebay. I'm going to ask $3750.00 for it here if anybody is interested. I did test the radio, class suspension, etc. and everything seems to work as it should.

On my way back from Texas, the bike decided she wanted new shoes as we were passing through Monroe, LA. Fortunately I was able to get to the local dealer, they had the sizes I needed and they did some reworking of their schedule in order to get me out that afternoon. There was a little bit of a wait, but they took me over to the nearby Mall so I could get some chow. I wasn't happy with the bike picking up the nail hitchhiker but Bayou Motorsports made it a lot less of a hassle than it could have been. Oh, and did I mention that Thursday through Saturday were COLD for riding across the south?
