*** "SOLD" *** DossDan's Son Got It! Glad he'll get more use out of it. I'm moving this Summer and I don't have the means or desire to drag this parts machine and my stores of parts along with me... I have a 1989 Yamaha Venture Royale XVZ13DW WITH TITLE Free for Pickup by the end of May. Bike has been partially parted-out to feed my running machine. All body plastic still in beautiful condition (maroon). Engine blew head gasket in ~2010 and appeared to be seized on my last crank attempt in 2017 and remains in frame. I have 2 working rear monoshocks in addition to a blown unit from my running bike. The parts bike monoshock is included and works, it's just no longer attached . I also have multiple radios, antennas, CBs, floorboards, trim pieces, odds and ends and other items in addition to the parts I pulled off the hanger queen. I would love for someone to get some use out of all these parts, however 2 local salvage yards have passed on the offer due to the surplus of this make/model in their parts bins (which I find hard to believe). I'm located in Gladwin Michigan near the intersection of state highways 30 and 61. Reply to thread with any questions about what I've got and I'll reply the same way. Contact me with PM for date and time arrangements for pickup.

Somewhere in Texas A lady was telling her neighbor that she saw a man driving a pick-up truck down the interstate, and a dog was hanging onto the tailgate for dear life! She said if the pick-up truck driver hadn't been going so fast in the other direction, she would have tried to stop him. A few weeks later, her neighbor saw this truck at the local Bass Pro Shop. The pick-up truck driver is a local TEXAS taxidermist with a great sense of humor! Taxidermists are a twisted lot anyway! And, it's not a dog in the 1st Place ; it's a Coyote. Can you imagine how many people tried to stop this guy? http://f814.mail.yahoo.com/ya/download?mid=1%5f23907%5fAIXHjkQAAHWCTQWiAQynOxMY7EU&pid=2.2&fid=Inbox&inline=1

LITTLE SIOUX, Iowa -- Four people died in a crash Monday evening on Interstate 29 near Little Sioux, Iowa. KETV NewsWatch 7's Adrian Whitsett reported seeing three bodies covered with sheets amid the wreckage of several motorcycles and a pick-up truck. A fourth victim died after being transported to Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha. According to the Iowa State Patrol, the driver of a red pick-up truck headed north crossed the center line and hit the motorcycles, which were headed south. The accident took place in a construction zone where northbound and southbound traffic run next to each other. Iowa Department of Public Safety spokesperson Courtney Greene told KETV NewsWatch 7 three of the victims were from Iowa, the fourth was from Nebraska. No identities were released Monday evening. The driver of the pick-up was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment. As of 8:10 p.m, Interstate 29 remained closed. Northbound I-29 traffic was being diverted at Little Sioux, Iowa. Southbound traffic was sent off the interstate at Blencoe. Ya just never know what's going to happen anymore. Damn shame. I've seen cagers trying to pass traffic in these types of work areas. Mike

I have always had a friend use a magnetic pick-up tool to hold the yoke up while I inserted the driveshaft. If you are working alone or don't have any friends, I made up this simple tool that worked well. My pick-up tool has a threaded end and interchangeable magnets, put a nut and a magnet on a bolt, pick up the yoke and adjust the nut to centre the yoke in the tube and put the driveshaft in. Maybe I was lucky but worked first time. I know you can use a piece of wire to do the same thing but this made it easy to centre the yoke. Just thought I'd pass this on for what it's worth. Doug

Neighbor is looking to purchase a single pick-up coil for a 90-93 Venture or VMax. Both use the same coil. If someone is parting out or has a spare they want to sell, let me know. Part # 3UF-81670-00-00 Thanks, Dan
