At our club bike night last night, a guy and his wife showed up on a 2001 RSV with pillow top seats. My wife noticed that the pillow top passenger seat is a good 4 to 6 inches wider than our stock 2000 seat. So... is it a wider seat base or is that just extra padding adding to the width? A wider seat base would give more support but extra padding at the sides doesn't look to me like it would make much of a difference in comfort as there would be little, if any, extra support. Anyone? In my ongoing attempt to get comfy I was wondering about cycling shorts? They come with built in padding.... Aside from that I'm about to pull the trigger on a Daylong!

Question: ??? OK, I have a Corbin Seat for my Busa. I like the Shape of the seat, but its just to Darn Hard !! Only good for about 2 hours of rideing ( even at Busa Speeds !! ) I bought it on E-Bay, for a good price, so I don't have a fortune invested in the thing. I'm looking at the seat, and realize it won't be to hard to remove the Cover ( which is very good material ) and Replace whatever padding material is in there. Anybody out there have the Answer as to What type of Material I should try to use to replace the inner padding material with. Foam rubber, ?? What type ?? Where to get it ?? Is there a someplace on line that sells Seat padding material ?? I'm all Ears, if anybody has any suggestions -----

A friend of mine has a 86 Goldwing 1200 Interstate and his seat padding is gone. The seat looks good on the outside, but the inside padding is shot. He is setting on the metal seat pan which is very uncomfortable. He has looked on eBay, but had no luck. Does anyone has any suggestions on a good fix that doesn't break the bank?
