As I read the various threads/posts, I often see words mis-spelled, spaces missing between two words, words that have a couple or more letters reversed and so on. As I get older, it seems that what I know is the correct spelling and/or punctuation just seems to get mixed up as it travels from my brain to my fingers. I usually porof (oops... that should be proof) read what I type and make corrections and when I do, it amazes me how bad this is becoming. Not so mayn (oops... that should be many) years ago my tpying was near perfect. Have "you" noticed this ... (I'll call it "phenomenon") happening aslo?

Well, found out that I CAN pick my 2nd gen up by myself. In a hurry to a Patriot Guard Ride Sunday and had to run to Walgreens before I went. Went to leave and as I turned out of the parking area to the drive, the bike stalled and down I went. Needless to say I was embarassed. The worst part was I went down on the right side and I was so out of sorts that I didn't think to put the kickstand down before I lifted it up. Lets just say the look on my face of "Now what" once I had it up was almost as funny as watching me try to get my left leg over the bike with the driver backrest fighting me all the way. At least I didn't drop it again! LOL

OOPS I am in trouble now While installing my rake for the Trike I broke off an air schrader valve on the top of a fork. I really don't think there was any air in it/them, but that isn't the problem. The problem is where to find just the schrader valve. Does anyone have one that is in their tool box that some how came up as a spar,,, In short HELP !!!! I know Dumb Ass Move?!! but if you knew the hassle I have had with this triple tree you would understand. Mill work, and fit of this new design sucks.

I have reviewed the site on the fixing of the stock seat. (2001 RSV recently purchased) It mentions that the pull through fasteners are delicate and one has to be careful with them. Can you elaborate on how you pulled them through and how the connection with the material was made? In addition where can one acquire these fasteners in the event of an oops. Thanks Riding season for us in Manitoba is coming to a close and it is time to doing some repairs on the seat as it is separating at the seams for some reason.
