Finally coughed up the $12 in support of this site that has saved myself and my ridin buddies literally hundreds of dollars in tech support. I've met several members on my voyages and in person they are just as helpful, fun, and friendly. I hope to attend some of your events and contribute to the conversation online. Thanks!

Does anyone know where to get a clutch switch for a MKII? Mine was broken & rigged by the PO as a fix- I just figured it out after a few years of ownership whilentrying to diagnose a cruise control problem. I can't find the part number anywhere. Looking at the online microfiches, I am having trouble actually identifying the actual part. Another idea- By chance does anyone have a spare that they are willing to sell?

Anyone doing online contests? I am doing the fiat USA Facebook contest and the fox.com/Alcatraz contest for a new mustang. I missed the 1st round so working on the 2nd round. I got the the 1st answer (puzzle 16) and couldn't figure out the rest. I think of myself as a smart person but these things I haven't got a clue. Thankfully there are folks out there that have figured it out and posted the answers and explanations in most cases. Even after the answers are explained I still have no clue how to solve it after trying to reverse engineer the puzzles.

Ok, I'm just checking. I'm doing the R1 brake upgrade using the forks off an '87. I'm going to need the front axle for the '87. Thought I ask around the site before I start digging in the online listings. Anybody got one laying around that needs a home? Mike

I'm replacing rear tire on my 86 venture. That is going smoothly, however, I also want to replace the front tire as well and this is where I've run into a big fat... "HUH????". The front tire is a Bridgestone Spitfire touring and the only size I can see on it is listed as such: **** MR90-18 71H ***** again... HUH?????? what the heck is that? I've looked online and cant seem to find any such size. I'm Planning on going with the D404 Dunlop 140/90/16 on the rear from motorcycle superstore online as the $105 with free shipping seems to be the cheapest I can find. I'd like to put the matching Dubnlop on the front but am lost with this tire size issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jay

Ok I've lost my list of favorite online vendors when my pc had to be replaced a couple months back. Who do ya all recommend. I'm looking for OEM parts. Checked the local dealer with poor results on pricing besides the fact I still have to order all my items. That just sucks so may as well order all I need online anyhow. Had already checked Yamahapartshouse.com. Thanks in advance, Larry

I've got a Garmin 450 that came with the bike I bought it works great, actually the speedometer is far more accurate than the one on the bike and much easier to read, but the map is WAY out of date. Garmin wants like $75 to update the map online. I think at that price I can spend a little more and just buy a new GPS . Any one know if there's a way to go online and maybe download something from google , mapquest or anything???

I have noticed that we have LOTS of visitors...Welcome!! For those of you visiting, this site is an awesome place to get information about your bike and share others experience with their bikes. The information about anything and everything from accessories, where to get em, maintenance and how to do it, paint, pictures and just general bike talk can be found here. I visited this site many times to get help with maintenance stuff and a big Thank You to the guys like Condor, Freebird and Goose to name a few who have taken the time to explain stuff to newbies or guys that just want to avoid taking their bikes to a dealer or shop do get some very expensive repairs that they could easily do themselves. To take full advantage of the site only costs you $12 bucks for a whole year, I made that up on the first part I bought and membership allows you to see the pictures the guys posts that have worked on the same parts. I changed the needle valves on my 96 RSTC and the parts from a dealer and many online stores were about $36 apiece. Using this site as a resource I purchased them online from OBB in a 5 pack for the same as it costs for one! My reason for posting this is not only to thank the guys that spend their time posting to help others but to keep a great site going strong! Become a member! Remember there is strength in numbers and in brotherhood! Great Riding!

Has anyone stayed at the Lodge at Tellico near the Cherohala Skyway? We're planning to be there this weekend (Fri & Sat nights). They seem to get good reviews online and was just wondering if anyone has first hand experience staying there. http://www.lodgeattellico.com/ Thanks, Dennis

336 online & 88 of those members right now. You guys need to quit lurking out there and spend the buck a month it costs to come on here and be abused. Some of these fellows on here are sorta good at it. Plus a few of us can actually be helpful, sometimes. Not to mention, the boss wants to buy a can-am. Traitor. Gary

Just finished conducting some business with an online mc supplier "Revzilla" http://www.revzilla.com/?utm_content=HeaderLogo&utm_campaign=order_cancelled&utm_medium=email. I do a lot of online ordering and usually do not think twice about where I get something from, but I got to say I am quite impressed with this supplier. On a late Sunday they were able to cancel an order, I had changed my mind about, promptly and I had my money refunded back into my Paypal account. No hassle, no questions, just fantastic service. I will be using them again, and again in the future!!

After not being able to find my Canadian source for Plastex, a little old man told me they went out of business. Does anyone else know if there is another distributor IN CANADA, that ships to online customers?

THEY COULD NOT FIND THE ENGINE I PURCHASED ON EBAY 4 days ago!!! I emailed my arrival date along with my payment intentions. I called repeatedly to confirm. No answer, only busy signals. I arrived Dec. 28 waiting for the door to be unlocked. They spent 45 minutes looking for it before they told me that it wasn't where it was supposed to be. I did the requisite song and dance about deciding to do business with a company who professed their good reputation online, yet no one answering phones... blah, blah, blah, and "then I arrive here and you can't even find an engine you just posted on eBay?!?!" I was finally invited out back to start looking too...apparently in violation of strict orders from the boss who wasn't there...but after driving for 5 hours and spending the night in a hotel, they might have sensed that I was about to have a royal Canadian bird right then and there if I didn't get my engine. We found 2 other engines. One I recognized from online that looked like crap, which was why I went for the one that came up for sale more recently. The other engine we found was missing a side cover but looked a lot cleaner, however it might have 3 times the mileage than the one I saw online...ODO was 17,542...it looked that clean but I have to doubt it. Amber, the girl behind the desk, couldn't make a deal, but she expressed her frustration working a job without the required manpower, and covering for people who weren't at this location. She phoned the boss, the only concession was $25 off. WARNING: Pinwall Cycle is moving to a new location. There are signs all over the shop saying they are moving to the old Canton Elevator building. The move is planned to be completed by August 2011. The place is in total chaos now, half crew at new location, half at the old place. If this move is going to last for 8 months, and they don't have the ability to keep track of a whole engine in the mean time, I'm warning you all about potential order problems in the coming months.

Has anyone in Michigan bought a Harbor Freight Tag along trailer #66771 from the store and not online? Today I got a 25% off coupon for today only. If I order it online i have to pay an extra $89 shipping. I called the store near me and they told me that the only way to get it is to order it on line because they don't have it in the store. ps HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
