Just noticed this morning that I have a small leak right under the engine...I haven't checked it out yet, but it feels like oil. How frequent is it for the newer bikes to spring a small oily leak. I am hoping it is either from the filter or the plug...just not tight enough. I will check out this...

OK, received a message from a member about using Pledge and Pam to deal with the (love bug) removal, and can`t get back in touch with him, as he is in East Texas on a ride, any way, I use Pledge on my bike, but what about and how or when do you use the Pam?? seams like it would make an oily mess.......

Guess I should have taken some pics, but I'll try to describe what I saw. I had the gas tank off... replacing the handlebars and cables. There is an air box on each side on top of the carbs with a piece between the two with some foam between the pieces. The left side foam was oily with more oil...

Change the plugs in my "06" today and I notice the area around the carbs on the left side (on/off fuel valve side) had alot of oily film, that plastic box that sits on top of the carbs, I removed the top was the same, on the left oily and normal on the right.
