I had a fairly long conversation with Jim Gooch of HMS today and one topic was the rear wheels, Jim stated that any 4-100 15x7 wheel with an offset between 38-40mm would be just fine on there, no worries of any tire or wheel rub. Being able to use a 38 or 40mm offset greatly increases the selection of wheels from which to choose. The larger the number the more to the inside the wheel moves. I also asked about the rear brake line from the rear master cylinder to the T block, it is the Yahamama stock line. I am going to replace it with a braided stainless line. Hope this helps some who may want to put different wheels on.

I have an 02 RSMV with a Hannigan Classic sidecar. I also have a Shadow trailer I want to mount to the RSMV. I need to offset the ball six inches to the right of the center of the bike. If I don't do this my bike/sidecar/trailer will be wider than my Ram 1500 pickup. I need some ideas.

Anybody have some suggestions for a front fender mud flap to keep the dirt off the radiator? Also I want to add some hiway pegs to the little front crash bars. I would like an adjustable offset style to put the boots on when freeway riding. Any good suggestions that you have used?

When I bought my bike, it had a set of the Longhorn Offset Dually highway pegs on it. I don't like them. I can't seem to get them adjusted where I want them. I would like to trade them for a pair of straight (no offset) pegs similar to these. If you are interested let me know.

For a mixture of a birthday gift and Christmas gift (a little late - but I'm not complaining) my girlfriend decided to get me a set of these (Kuryakyn longhorn offset dually iso highway pegs --- Look up Longhorn offset 7980 and they come up). Well, I was the one that surprised her when I picked up a set for my self. SO, long story short, I do not need two sets and to save on the stupid 'restocking' fees and whatever they call them I was wondering if there was anyone in here that was looking for a set. These have the 1" clamp, which is correct for the RSV. I'll post these in the classifieds in a few days (I am still waiting for the ones that she ordered to arrive. They shipped out today and when she found out I got a pair for myself it was too late to cancel the order). They will be new, in box, never opened, I'll just put them in an appropriate shipping container and send it to you if you want them. - $132.00 and I'll cover shipping (to the US - If someone from Canada is interested let me know and I can figure out how much extra it will be to ship this north of the border -- or if someone wants them and is in Vancouver, I can deliver them when I am up there in a few weeks on business).
