Any Nolan owners out there? I just bought a Nolan N103 Helmet equiped with the Nolan Bluetooth set up off Ebay. I'm trying to figure out how to configure the system to work with both my GPS and the audio system on my '99RSV. It didn't have the manual..the seller is sending it... but I've down loaded the pdf manuals, and after looking at them all, it looks like the head set is the latest N-Com Bluetooth kit 3-2.1. It'll sync to my GPS. It'll sync to my Cell Phone. What I need it to do it sync to my bike audio system. I've found a 5 pin wired cable, but I want to go Bluetooth on the audio too. The system has the capability of syncing with what looks like 4 different bluetooth devices. Has anyone here ever been successful bluetoothing the RSV audio?? I know J&M makes a bluetooth dongel which I think plugs into the '99 allowing audio and CB. It's the CB that's important. Any advice would be appreciated.

Has anyone tried AFX helmets ? I am looking at model 140, a new flip-up helmet. They are all on back order. Can get one for $116. On SS, so don't have the money for a new Nolan 104. tew47

SO... I just picked up this Nolan 103 helmet off Ebay, and now I'm looking at possible bluetooth head sets. Nolan makes one, as well as J&M... maybe others??. Both will interface with my GPS or phone. But... I'd like to find an adaptor that would plug into the Audio cord on a 2ndGen, and be able to link to a bluetooth headset eliminating the hardwire. Then I could RX and TX with the CB. Basically that's all I'd use it for as the GPS has an integrated MP3 player. Question... Is a J&M Dongle a bluetooth adapter??

OK, I bought this mintish Silver Nolan 1002 X-Lite Flip to match my '99 off ebay from a local seller. It's marked size is an xxl, and I never tried it on when I picked it up. When I got back to the barn I gave it a try, and it ain't a xxl. I have two Nolan xxl's and this one isn't. I don't even think it's a XL.... probably more like a L. So here's the deal. I picked it up for $71.00, which is a great price. So, thought I'd give this a shot. Anyone here interested in it for $71 bucks plus shipping??... unless your close by, and can pick it up like I did... LMK

I've lost one of the covers over the visor screw on my Nolan N41 helmet. I've looked everywhere for a replacement and even ordered a couple of times but always get a email back saying that it is not available. So, if you have an old Nolan N41 that you want to sell, please let me know. I don't care if the helmet is totally trashed out, I just need the small covers on the side that cover the allen screw for the shield. I'll pay you for the helmet, you can send me the covers and then through the helmet away.

I'm seam to having trouble finding out how well the Nolan N-COMM communications work on the Ventures. The wife and myself, both have Nolan N-42E 3/4 helmets, and were looking into wired communications. The Nolan helmets have a special adapter I heard can run not only the Nolan communications through them, but you can buy J&P headsets also using an adapter. Can anyone share their experiences with either of these units? We would like to get some communications for our helmets, and didn't want a clamp on style headset like the ones we have now from our Gold-wings Thanks for your help

I've got a nolan N41 classic plus helmet that needs a new face shield, hinge screw bolt and plastic slide cover over one of the hinges. Where is the best place to get parts for the nolan? I don't know that I am really fond of the helmet but its the one that has the headset I wear to talk with my wife when she goes along so I gotta keep it up in good repair. Iowa Guy

I just bought (and paid way too much for) a Nolan N-42 helmet and installed the basic and bluetooth kit in it. I can't say enough about how well this works. I thought it would be impossible to have my phone connected to my helmet and still be able to use the CB. The CB/intercom is still connected by a wire (had to buy the multimedia wire for the Gold Wing) but it works flawlessly. I can dial the phone with the voice dialing, answer a call, hang it up, and still have the CB hooked up and working. I really didn't think it would be possible to have all this going at once. I don't want a cell phone along on a holiday trip but it's nice when I am commuting... Playing the music through the helmet is pretty tinny but voice from the phone and CB is very clear. Everyone says they can't believe I am on my motorcycle. Can't wait for the BT module to come in for my Yaesu ham radio and see if that works!!
