I purchased 2 Wolo Bad Boys at the new Northern Tool & Equipment store in Sioux Falls on Saturday. Went to work on sunday to install them. One on my '84 and one on my son's 91 750 Nighthawk. We can get neither one to work. We wired just as the directions show to do. The relays will click and that is all. Any ideas? Thanks, Dave

Dan's 1983 CM250 custom sold a week ago to a lady in Sioux Falls, SD who is just learning to ride. They come up to check it out an did not even haggle on the price. I guess we had is too low at $700.00. Got out about what we put in and they got a good deal so every body is happy. After much research, internet surfing, and many conversations, we finally found Dan a bigger bike. We found him a 1991 Honda CB750 Nighthawk. It has about 30,000 mile on it but is in great shape. We brought it home Wednesday evening and Dan had to take it out to show all his buddies. Before he left, I reminded him of how much more power the 750 has over the 250. When he got home, he had a HUGE smile on his face. I knew we got the right one. When he got off the bike in the garage, he told me that he will have to be careful with this. he said he was surprised by the power. He said this without my having to ask him. I think this shows a great level of maturity in him. We are already planning where to ride when he gets used to the Nighthawk. Now he want to get a matching helmet! At least he is looking at full faced ones. Thanks for all the input on my previous posts about this. Dave

For those familiar with Honda Nighthawk: I just got a request to work on a (claimed to be) 1994 Honda 650 Nighthawk with a clutch problem. Issues describes are kind of vauge at this point but what I'm running into is I'm not seeing a '94 650 Nighthawk in my searches for info. Only a 750. I'm a bit familiar with the mid 80's Hawks. Did Honda make a 650 up into the 90's? I haven't seen the bike yet so I can't refer to VIN# or other identifiers. Just trying to get a head start on this before I commit to taking it in. Mike

Hey Nighthawk II, sure was nice to meet you this afternoon! I'd like to come up to Oneida and ride sometime. Maybe we should try to get all the East Tennessee Venture riders together and do the curves of the Big South Fork!

I am going to throw this out there. I am not sure if i will get a response. I am going to become a certified MSF instructor. I will be taking the certification course on the weekend of May 15th, 29th, and June 5th. I live in Dubuque, IA but the course will be in Milwaukee, WI. That's a decent drive for my nighthawk 750. (The bike will be fine, but I'd be pretty sore) I am currently looking to purchase a second Gen, but I was wondering if anyone would be willing to rent their bike. If not I have plenty of other options, I could just throw the nighthawk in the back of my truck too. (Not too bad of an idea, then I could bring the TW200 as a spare...) Just throwing an idea out there. I would be negotiable.

Here is the scoop, I just purchased a 1999 Exploder off of eBay on the far far side of Pennsilvania. Picking up the truck will be a 1200 mile round trip. My plan is to weld a hitch together and ride my wife's Nighthawk 750 out to PA, use this hitch to bring both vehicles back. (The explorer has a 2" hitch receiver) It's no big deal with the Nighthawk, as I can quickly remove the chain, and prevent any possibility for transmission damage. However, the venture would be a much, much more comfortable ride. Has anyone actually towed a venture with the rear wheel on the ground 600 miles? Obviously the trans would be in neutral, and as far as i can see, the gears are constantly submerged in oil. I only have 10 days to pick up the explorer, so I can't really use opinions. If someone has towed a venture like this, please let me know, otherwise I will be flying on the nighthawk. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y191/Ggerg1186/Hauler_003-587x350.jpg
