Been having a lot of pain in my neck the last couple of weeks and it's gotten so bad I finally went to the Doctor today. Yes you guess it, another surgery coming up. They took an x-ray and the look on the Doctors face as he came in said it all. Two vertebrata that you could see at the base of the neck have collapsed onto each other and he fears there is more below the shoulder area the x-ray doesn't show. They are setting me up for an MRI so they can see just how bad it is. I knew about every 5 years I would have to have surgeries to extend the rods in my back as the vertebrates keep deteriorating but they started at the bottom of my spine and have been working their way up. Will know more after the MRI and consulting with the neurosurgeon. At least this time I shouldn't have to ware that awful brace for 4 months. Crap, I just didn't need this right now. Vent done.

Well after three years of troubles with both knees, I finally got to see the doctor I saw when all the problems started. He had an MRI done on the right knee and found a torn meniscus. He did surgery shortly after that. It felt good till things went south after a few weeks. It never got better. In the mean time my left knee started killing me again too. Another doctor, (thanks to workman's comp), had an MRI done on that one and said there was a degenerating meniscus, and there was nothing he could do about it. Now after all this time I was ale to see the original doctor. He looked at the MRI done by the other doctor and said it looks there was a tear in the meniscus all along. He ordered a rescan on both knees. In a way, I'll be pi$$ed if I find out that the left knee was torn all along, but then I'll be glad if it can be fixed. After the last three years, and this summer, I'll have about enough of the doctors! I had a mammogram, (or is that a maogram), a few weeks ago. Luckily no cancer. Just a very tender, large, lump in my right breast. Tomorrow I get another MRI. This time on both knees. Who knows what that will lead to. More arguing with workman's comp I'm sure. Then on the 22nd I get to have surgery on my sinuses. Maybe after 38 years, I can finally breath through my nose and smell like a normal person.

Well I got my MRI results back today and I didn't tear anything in my shoulder I streched the tendons and they are swollen. I also have fluid buildup from the swelling so they gave me 2 cortizone shots and hopefully I will be riding soon. TOM

Dr. seen Cindy today and told her that he thought they were going to have to open up her knee and clean it out. They are going to do an MRI first and go from there. When I went back in today they were running late with the lunches and she was really hungry. Well when they brought in her lunch the nurse had just got the call not to let Cindy eat or drink anything till after the MRI. Poor woman was about to cry. Hope they do it pretty quick. Dale
