I am going to try something new.......instead of posting auctions for all this stuff I have, and more coming from Jason, lets try this, I think it will work faster and make everyone happy. If you want one of these items send me a pm telling me what you want. It will cost you $5.00 for the USPS priority mail shipping, plus a donation for the kids at St. Jude. At least make your donation a minimum of $5.00 for each item you want, you can make a larger donation, which would be fantastic, so if you want one of each , pin, shirt, hat, that would be $15.00 donation and $5.00 for shipping. Now I have plenty of shirts and about 30 pins, 15 hats, so pm me first before you paypal to make sure I have what you want. I will respond to all the om's after we return from our cruise which will be Feb 23. So don't forget this is for the Kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. :mo money::mo money:

Just looked in the classifieds at the 2nd gen page and seen that 10 of the listings have been sold recently. Was there some stimulus offering that I have missed? Or did someone here hit it big in Lotto? :mo money::mo money:

Well we NYers dodged this one for now. But it won't be long before somehow or someway it passes. Seems there was a bill that was shot down for now that would have us paying to register our bicycles in order to traverse NY state highways. Gotta love this state our politicians are creative!:mo money:

I've done some dumb things in my day, but today took ranks right up there in the top 5. Today I changed my oil and added motorkote too. That's about $60 worth of lubricant (Amsoil). I also had cut the rear baffles out of my road king's. I couldn't wait to hear that so I had to run it down the road. Like those alot better. I took another look at the oil level and realized I had overfilled it. To keep this short.....Oil takes longer to cool down than you think. When I pulled the plug out (not hot) and the oil (extremely hot) flowed down over my hand, it was so hot I couldn't get the dad blamed plug back in. Yep, that's right $60 worth of Amsoil & Motorkote right out on the floor. Live and learn, I guess.:mo money::mo money:

I am also a member of STAR chapter 304 Fayetteville, Ga. And all of our members own Yamaha's and several of us own two Yamaha's...until now. One of our members who owns a 06 Stratoliner went out and bought:mo money::mo money: an brand new 2009 Harley Ultra Classic. He hasn't completely lost his mind as he kept the Strat. Well, we all met today and got our first look at the new Ultra Classic and it's proud new owner (one wearing the helmit) and one of his buddies (one wearing the shades) and an oil spot (just happened to be there but not really from the Harley but we had him going). The Ultra Classic is really a beautiful bike and I really hope he likes it. Well here are the pictures, enjoy. Harry:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Only 12 hours left to replace that old torn used up seat on your 1st Gen. The auction will end in a little over 12 hours and remember all the money goes to the Kids at St. Jude Children's Hospital, and if the bid goes over $60.00, Squidley will pay $15.00 of the shipping charges, so lets make him put up some more of his hard earned cash :mo money:............ Thanks to Brad everyone else who has offered up items for auction to help the Kids at St. Jude, and thanks to the membership for helping make it possible with all their generous bids..........

My 93 1500 silverado,5.0 tbi------developed a miss and was running poorly---the gentleman that does all my work to keep it running -----Brought out that ancient relic called a 'timing light'----after checking, was told that the timing HAD decreased 12-15 degrees! once we were able to loosen the distributor{that was ajob within itself}--advanced the dist. back to it's correct degree, all was WELL ---------the idle smoothed out,my gas mileage went back up{to a whopping 17 per gal.} and overall driveability went back up ------------was told that the TIMING Chain has STRETCHED?????????? only have 188K on the motor---------replacing the said chain,water-pump checking the oil pump-----power-steering hoses need to b replaced!!:mo money::mo money:SOOOO has anyone heard of the 'stretched timing chain' ?????????????????????? I understand what the problems could be IF not taken care of!!!!----------:usa:

Got the bike torn down right now. What a PIA tracing those wires. Got the covers off too. I need to pick me up some heat shrink tubing as well as a heat gun and a mini-torch (sorry margaret...LOL) to heat up those stupid phillips head bolts that Yamaha installed with loctite. Ill be replacing those with either an allen head or hex head bolts. Yep, im taking pics as I go along too for future reference. Got 16 pics so far. The stator has a longer wiring harness so the whole wiring can be re-routed to make soldering the connections easier. More later........ :mo money::mo money:

Looks like the stator decided to take a dump on me. Guess its my opportunity to try out the one from Buckeye Performance. I talked to Rick the other day and im convinced that thats the way im going to go. Guess ill be bikeless for a few weeks......Grrrrrrrr :mo money::mo money:

I have a flat garage roof and 8 years ago I had the tar and gravel surface replaced by a rolled rubber roof with a granular surface. The roof just started leaking along one of the seams, maybe a 3' length. I have read that just coating the area with tar will eventually deterioriate the rubber roof itself. Other than calling in a roofer, is there anything that I could do to stop the leak myself? :mo money:
