Wing Ding starts on July 1st in Des Moines. I know it is for Goldwings but with all the bikes and vendors someone from this forum might be interested in attending.

Couple Finds Their Flag Cut Into Pieces POSTED: 5:03 pm CDT May 11, 2010 &nbs DES MOINES, Iowa -- A Des Moines couple, Lynn and Paul Montgomery, said someone stole an American flag from their front yard and apparently compounded the offense by cutting the flag into pieces.Lynn Montgomery said she probably wouldn't have called police if the 3-by-5 foot flag hadn't been cut up.She said she found only one small scrap of the flag in the yard after last week's theft.A police report filed on Monday lists no suspects. Thieves also took the flag pole.Lynn Montgomery said she and her husband will replace the flag and pole once they can find them on sale. Why is there people out there like that? I hope they find them and think what ever the perpetrator did, SHOULD happen to them. Might just make some, think before they do something? Bryan

I spotted a 2nd Generation in the back of a pickup on I80 in Des Moines yesterday - headed West. I wonder if it was one of our members? There has also been a 2nd Generation running around Colfax - Newton - Baxter area with a smaller bike following - perhaps a child with a permit - any of these people members here?

http://picturesI would like to take a moment to thank EVERYONE that had anything, in any way, to do with the International Rally and the raffling of the trailer. It is an honor to be this year's recipiant of the grand prize. I got the trailer home from Des Moines IA late Wednesday night and finally got to take some pictures of it yesterday. (I will post them after lunch.) I can not say enough about the people at Thomas Bus Sales in Des Moines. They were wonderful to deal with and very professional in thier actions. I got to pick out the trailer I wanted and they had it prepped and loaded in 15 minutes. We were back on the road headed to Ky in less than 30 minutes total. I am looking forward to loading it up and heading out to the mountains when I return from work in late Sept. The Warden has already picked us out a location to go down in the Smokies... :dancefool: Again, Thank You to everyone that made this possible,, And ECK,, sorry about your luck man..LOL
