I've had two people ask me about the availability of the domed decals here: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/venturerider-merchandise/39088-venturerider-domed-decals.html I don not have any at this time. They are not cheap and I have to order a minimum number of them to get the best price. I have not ordered any because if there is no demand, I will end up sitting on the investment for a long time. So is there any interest? If so, I'll start taking orders and get them on the way but otherwise, will wait a while longer. Don

I took my (new to me) 1986 Royale out for the first time this weekend for a shake-down run. But when I got back, I noticed that my headlight was not working. In after-thought, I don't remember if it was working when I took off, I checked turn signals and brake lights, etc, but not headlight. No warning indicators on the dash lit up. I know before this "Sea-foam drive it like I stole event", it was working when I was checking the bike over. Anyways, I've checked the bulb - ohm'd good. filiments intact but only 1.2 volts present. Opened, cleaned left side handle bar switch, also minimum (1.2) voltage present on both low and high. Now, I'm thinking that it might be in the starter switch, since I'm not getting any indication of problems on the cmu and I never started it until yesterday. Am I on the right track?

I want to make a switch to Rotella T6 but I can only find it in 5W-40. The owners manual says 10W-xx is the minimum for the lower viscosity. Is 5W-40 OK?

Since I got my 2nd Gen I've been following this topic pretty closely (something about having to replace a $700 part get's my attention). I haven't seen this discussed, but I was wondering if there is any common denominator with the shocks that have failed. Like is it mainly guys that run the max air pressure, minimum air pressure, mostly two up, greater weight load on the bike, etc, etc, etc. It seems odd to me that some go and others don't and if there's something I can do to help keep me in the "don't" category I'd like to do it. Anyway...just random wondering.

Bought a 2001 Valkyrie last weekend with 7,300 miles on it and truly love riding this bike. With my wife having her own bike and our 2 up riding a minimum, thinking of selling my 2008 RSV-S. Decisions, decisions!

Doing the 2nd gear fix on my 83. I've read numerous posts here on different parts to order. Is there a " kit " from Yamaha that contains the minimum parts to order? -
Does anyone know of a document that gives a minimum vehicle ground clearance that the manufacturers must meet. There are some local speed bumps that a lot of people (including me) drag bottom on, they claim that the speed bumps are less than the minimum legal vehicle height, I would like to find out what that dimension is. Preferably a document to reference.

Good Morning everybody - What an experience, all inclusive vacation, got here yesterday and have done nothing but relax and let people wait on us. we've got a fishing trip planned and hopefully I'll luck into a sailfish or at minimum a nice tuna. I'm happy I don't have the Venture 'cause I'd want to go riding and that could turn sour real quick. gonna be hard to leave next week.

Has any body ever used nitros on a venture, was considering it just to be differant, how do you think the engine would hold up under minimum amount,, i Know it sounds nuts but why not.

It sprinkled a little early but eventually cleared up and got sunny in the afternoon. I just got a few pics at the Cafe. I'm hoping the ladies will have some more pics. I'd hate to fall short of the minimum requirements.

I'm looking a buying a new MP3 player for use on the bike. Anyone have good luck with one they'd like to share? I currently have an old cheapy that's going south and doesn't like to work right anymore. Here's my list of things I'd like: 1. Low to Medium price range. 2. No video needed 3. Minimum 2g memory 4. Ok some of you may have wondered about the Orange shirts from the end of the year M&E here is the link that you can use to get your own.There is a minimum order for some shirts like the ones we had on.We ordered a total of 7 mens with pockets 1 kids and 4 for the ladies at one time so the minimum was no problem for our order.So if you want a shirt that requires a minimum get together with the members in your area and get around the minimum that way.
