Lightning Deal! $62.99 - Midland 40-Channel Two-Way Radio http://amzn.to/GoldboxDeals I am thinking this might work for my RSTD so I can communicate with my RSV chatterbox friends. Yes? No? The deal ends when it is sold out, or by noon Central time. What do you think? Dave

I dont have a royale 1st gen. but I want to add a PTT button to transmit on the FRS radios my riding club like over the CB. many guys have bought one and they install over the left controls and the big box hangs over and feels flimsy... Not impressive for the $125.00 they paid for it from autocom. The one I have is a big fat rubber one that velcros on but feels uncomfortable. Anyone have a good one they installed on their bike? I'm looking at using a chatterbox CB-50 intercom and it has a mic out and speaker in that works with most radios and cellphones. The Midland setup I have now works but is not comfortable to use nor does it use the bikes power so a 3 hour ride has 1 and a half hours of no communication due to dead batteries.

Next Step was this site and i have bunch of suggestions. Firestick Was one of them, but I didnt like how look, as well if I have to replace CB antena ,AM/FM has to be replaced to match look. Some Additional Harware is Involved to fold antennas for Rain cover. Midland car magnetic antenna is pick my attencion Midland 18-2442 Mag Mount Antenna. http://joe.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/p634299dt.jpg X Close Window And looks like this one. Antenna is connected to Magnetic Base with M6 ( Metric 6 mm ) Yamahas antena top is made from brass and cromed so i'm drill 4,5mm and make M6 tread. Next step is to find M6 screw and cut off head and use as post. Twist on antenna and job is done. Total Cost Is $20. Friend of mine Has SWR Meter and he is test antenna before I Start using, and was no need to tune. Check Out Pic's
