Ok, summer is here. It hit 80 today. I bought a Scorpion textile jacket last fall and it does it's job well. I rode in temps down to 12 degrees with the liner in and it was warm enough at that temp. Take the liner out when it is between 40 and 70 degree range and that is great. But today........80! Not good! Been looking for a mesh jacket for a while for the upcoming hot days and there are a lot to choose from. Everytime I find something I think I would like it's not available in my size or sold out. I watch Motorcyclegear on a daily basis. I just want something that breathes and offers a fair amount of protection. Don't really need a rain liner as I carry a rain suit in the bag at all times. So I'm going to ask what are your comments on what you wear. That might help me narrow my search down a bit. Mike

Am looking at some mesh pants with liners for the coming season. Have looked pretty close at the TM Flex and they look good as well as the Fieldsheer. I got wind of a company called Sixth Gear and they have a mesh pant called Stinger. Looks good on line and about half the price of the TM. Anyone had any experience with these? Thanks for the input. Does anyone here use the ICON MIL SPEC Mesh Vest? I just received my order and there seems to be a problem with the sizing. As I intend to wear it over my Ballistics jacket, I ordered the 4X size. Now, I realize that, like everything else today, it is manufactured in China. But this was ridiculous. I couldn't even zip the thing up wearing just a tee shirt. If this is a 4X, it must be a made for a 4X Barbie doll. Has anyone else had a problem with the 4X size? OR does the world just like to pick on me???

Thought I would pass this on. I knew when I bought them they'd be hanging around all winter. But now summer is almost over and I HAVE TO get rid of the rest of these jackets this summer. At this price I'm loosing about $5 per jacket. Abuse me! Take'em all! About the jacket: The San Jose jacket is primarily designed for hot weather riding. The entire shell of the jacket is a "free air" mesh design which allows wind to blow right through. To enhance the crash worthiness of this jacket, it comes complete with removable armor in the shoulders, elbows and back. To add to the useful temperature range of this jacket, it comes with a removable vest-type thermal liner too. These liners can be useful on day rides where it is cooler in the morning, but warms up in the afternoon. There are only about 400 of these jackets left in our warehouse and I expect we'll sell them all pretty quickly, so use the drop down menu on the product page to view the sizes and colors remaining in inventory. MSRP $124.99, Now $25 As always, thanks for your patronage... http://www.newenough.com/neml_images/page_images/paul_sig.gif Paul Thompson, President New Enough, LTD email: daniel@newenough.com phone: 888-530-7351 web: http://www.newenough.com Forward this to a friend! http://img.constantcontact.com/letters/images/safe_unsubscribe_logo.gif This email was sent to prhenderson@cox.net by daniel@newenough.com. Seen a RSV the other day with a small dr backrest that mounted under the rear seat, looked great but I have been unsuccessful at finding anything like it anywhere. Also on same bike there was a rad grille made of plastic and aluminum mesh. The outer was a plastic frame amd the center was the aluminum mesh. Does anyone know of a source or sources for items which may be as I described? Sorry no pics and the bike was in a city which I was only passing through at the time.

:mo money:I am looking at buying a hot weather jacket. So far I am looking at the Joe Rocket Phoenix 4.0 Mesh Jacket and the Tourmaster Draft-Air Mesh Jacket. The Motorcycle Super store has a great price on these. Anyone have any experience with these jackets and this store?

I picked up a Mosse mesh/leather riding jacket this year. I don't know how I survived previous summers wearing my HOT leathers. My wife picked up the Mesh tek2 jacket from First Gear this year also. This mesh stuff is great.
