Sorry girls, I didn't forget about your tops. The vendor had a rush job which had to take precedence over our shirts. Also the manufacturer of ladys tops we were looking at is discontinuing their line so we had to go to a new manufacturer for them. I'm told ,I will have the shirts in a DAY OR TWO .. I will post pictures of them at that time....Again, sorry for the delay...

My Battery Tender went on the fritz about a year ago and I only recently got around to sending it back to the manufacturer. The unit I had came with the '83 Venture when I bought it in September 2006, so I have no idea how old it was by then. Long story short: the unit was completely beyond warranty (it was the older version with a 5-year limit), so they called me and said “we'll just send you a new, improved one, with a 10-year warranty, for $45, including shipping”. (I am aware that there are good prices available for this unit online, but this deal still beat the lowest price I could find when you include the delivery expense.) I said OK, they sent it, and now I have it, all within about a week. A very good deal for me + a great product + excellent/considerate Customer Service + prompt turn-around time, which all adds up to an exceptional “Good Vendor” experience! Edited at 2:05 PM on 12/07/10: Sorry, folks, I incorrectly thought that by mentioning "manufacturer" you would realize I was referring to the makers of the Battery Tender products. About a year ago, I bought this nice flag & holder from a local Yamaha dealer. Unfortunately, I no longer have the packaging and I can't recall who the manufacturer is. I'll check with the dealer if no one here knows the answer. It's the exact same product as listed in the most recent JP Cycles catalog on page #54. It's listed as a "Tour Box or Saddlebag Flag Mount" (item #1500455). I'll attach a picture of it with this post. My problem is the flag pole is designed to fold down at the push of a release button and then lock in place when it's raised up. Well, the mechanism which locks it in place when it's raised has failed and now it won't lock in to the raised position and flops down by itself. So, I wondered if the manufacturer might be able to help me either fix it or replace it. It was pretty pricey so I don't particularly want to have to purchase another brand new one if this one can be fixed. Any suggestions? Thanks! Pete.

Yamaha Suffers Through Rough 1st Quarter http://z.about.com/d/motorcycles/1/0/2/L/-/-/YamahaLogo.jpg We've reported on Harley not being the only manufacturer that's suffering, and Yamaha's first quarter results reflect more of the same unfortunate, industrywide news. Net income for the Japanese manufacturer dropped 22.2 billion yen (or $213 million) during the first quarter of 2008 according to Bloomberg, a whopping 12% decline. The Bloomberg report quotes a senior analyst who reiterates a theme that has plagued the motorcycle industry as of late: "Demand in the U.S. for the company's products, particularly the leisure-oriented ones, are slumping." Unlike Harley, whose 2008 lineup is heavy (no pun intended) on touring and cruising bikes, the '08 Yamaha lineup is diversfied with everything from supermotos to sportbikes to scooters.

I was hoping someone could lead me in the right direction. I want to replace my existing antenna with a CB antenna and was wondering if I can get just the antenna and have it fit on the existing bracket. I would really like it if it was 3' or shorter. Any ideas or suppliers? I have asked Sierra MC Electronics and they don't get back to me. Up until this week Wingstuff had a 3' firestick that would have been the perfect solution but has been discontinued by the manufacturer.

A couple of members have mentioned how a fork brace improves handling. They refer to the item as a Super Brace. I tried to get one but both bike shops I went to could only locate one for a Gold Wing. Can somebody give me the name of the manufacturer, supplier or any other details so I can order one locally? Many thanks
