Just downloaded the Mad Maps for Garmin. They have the US on sale now for $25 (reg $30). Still exploring what has been added to my Zumo after downloading Mad Maps but a neat feature under Extra's is you can pick a state and sorted by distance from your current location it will tell you what is in the State plus "more" gives you details about the sights. Haven't played around with it enough yet to know if it also downloads their routes but at $25 for all of the U.S. States it is a good deal. Anyone else use the gps version of Mad Maps ? Too bad they don't have Canada too !

Now of course, I am referring to motorcycling. I personally have thought it quite a few times, especially at night riding out in the country. I really do not think I have actually told him to though as yet. And if you told him to slow down, would he do it, or just be mad at you. Yama Mama

Nope.. its all real. The Indy GP was this last weekend and they had bikes on Meridian down town on the circle I met up with Bob and Dano and a few others here and there. I counted 6 ventures out of probably 5 thousand HDs there. They want to make Indy a bike week like Daytona at some point from what I have heard but man it's a mad house! It was fun but they need someone who knows how to organize and put one on. I did see a few Indians running around and only 4 victories and one Vision and it was getting a lot of attention. Seen a little bit of everything

Well I lasted exactly 2 days back to work after my bout of Pneumonia before I had to go back to the E/R, this time the chest pains were so, so bad, we thought it was the big one, I have never had pain so excrutiating ever before, so back we went to the ER. This time things didnt go as smoothly as the last time, got there just before the changing of shifts and to complicate matters, they started looking at all the results from my last visit one week ago and were ready to discharge me before the even did chest x-rays and had all the blood tested. We,Charlene and I told them I havent even had any meds yet, how can you discharge me with all this pain and trouble breathing. They said all the test were good and that the xrays ............Wrong I told them that they haven't done one damn thing yet, they were looking at old test. Then another doctor came in and started all over again. Take more blood since the other was still sitting on the cart, it went bad. Didnt like this one either, he seemed to be in a hurry to get rid of me till Charlene started asking it they tested for this and that, he left and came back later and said he did as she asked and everything looked good. It wasnt my heart, or my gall bladder or any other organ, no blood clot in the lungs or a collasped lung. What I had was still Pneumonia complicated by plusiary What really mad me mad is all they did for me was give me a bunch of pain killers to stop the pain but no antibiotics by IV like they did last time.......just more prescriptions and no work, so now I go back to my Dr. on Monday and see what they say. Life stinks right now, I am so tired of being sick, I actually miss work, and I cant work on the 1st gen right now, and time is running out to get it ready by Vogel. End of Rant............

I have filled out census forms for five decades and this one is unbelievable. They question you about everything. It is like a diary of your living. I don't feel comfortable in the "confidetiallity" of it. Why does it matter how many rooms, how far to work, how many people ride with me, how much I earned last year (to the dollar), etc? They want to know everything about all occupants of the household and your house payment. They even admit it takes thirty-eight minutes to fill it out! I feel like I am being set up as a "stimulus" to pay back the trillions that our government gave away to others. I'm mad

For all of you that visited the Biltmore while in Ashville and paid by credit card.....BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR STATEMENT. I got my bill yesterday only to learn that they triple charged me for 1 ticket. I had the receipt for my one ticket and they then ran my card through 2 more times. .....They must have thought I was seriouis when I said that Riderduke was my spouse and Muffinman was my mistress (it was a family outing). Giving mad props to my home slice Bummer. He's good peeps. Ok now that I got that out.... I want to thank Bummer for helping this past weekend with getting the SWR adjusted on my firestik cb antenna and also for the connector on the firestik am/fm antenna. I was amazed at how easy it is to adjust the swr. Time consuming (especially if you mount the rubber ring on the underside of the antenna bracket ), but easy. Hopefully will be able to pay it forward to someone else soon. Heard some interesting stuff on the cb on the way to work this morning. Guy not happy about a Hopper not being cleaned out apparently. Oh yeah and like you suggested I did call diamondr. Patti said she will check the shop for an extra pin. They did have one and is sending it to me. Jerry.

I want to give everyone a heads up. First of all, "if its to good to be true, it probably is." Someday I'll learn. My wife and I have been looking for a set of blue scorpion EXO-400 helmets. I found them at Extreme Supply for $90.00, regularly 129.00 to 139.00 depending. ( http://www.extremesupply.com/index.htm ) Yea, right... Ordered them Saturday evening. entered all the appropriate personnel info, plus of course credit card info. Got a Thanks for the order, along with confirmation number. Happy me. Monday evening I recived a we are sorry, but we just sold out email. That would have been OK, however they tried to up sell me to a more expensive helmet, even that would have been OK, but, I just check this evening (5 days latter) and they are still posting the same deal. This would indicate to me that they are trying to get others to buy something, that they don't have, so they can try to sell them something more expensive. I realize I'm whinning, but, we need to treat Web merchants just like local merchants, if they don't live up to their advertisements, we need to let everyone know, WE ARE MAD AS HECK!, AND WE AIN'T GOING TO TAKE IT, WITH OUT LETING EVERYONE KNOW. 3d

In the past few months I have been dealing with TriWing Trikes to obtain a DX Cruiser body. After selling us the body they have become rude. The only thing we have done is to question an EXTRA $125.00 shipping charge, and ask them which gear ratio they would recommend a 3.45.1 or a 3.27.1, oh I also asked if they had a tech line if ******* was not available. Hear is some of the negative correspondence. I hope this will give someone a heads up before they deal with them. :mad: :mad: :mad: It costs us $75.00 to ship to Vancouver, and the Vancouver to your residence was $350.00 as the below message I received states. That is a total of $425.00. As you paid $300.00, you still owe $125.00, I was not aware that we put the gear ratio in our instructions. I don’t see how I can assist you. This was a project you decided to take on instead of purchasing a proper kit, so I would say you are on your own. I don’t have a tech person sitting here to ask your questions to and I don’t put kits together. I have a manual courtesy of Jerry-M and it does give gear ratio and recommended tire size PS. I went and picked the body up at the trucking company it was not delivered to our shop.
