Internet Explorer had been working just fine with this site, but a couple of days ago it decided that it didn't want to log in here anymore. Firefox still works great, and from my work computer (also IE) it logs in fine. When I try to log in with IE on this computer I get the message Invalid Redirect URL ( http://venturerider.org./modules/Jig/index.php?&) Any ideas?? Frank D.

Just curious..... I switch between FireFox and Internet Explorer (most current version of each) on this computer and I also use Safari on my iPad2. Now and then I have to do the Username/Password to log in to the site. Here's the query: There are two log-in boxes, one on the left near the top and one on the upper right. When I use the one on the left, my information is not accepted and I am warned that I have use "X of 5 attempts". When I use the one in the upper right my information is accepted and I log in and stay logged in until I use the iPad2. Anyone else have similar problems and/or why one log-in box refuses the information while the other readily accepts it?

So we ordered a helmet from http://www.bikersden.com on the 18th. We've been trying to find a helmet that will fit my egg head. We went with them cause it was supposed to be in stock and they had a good return policy. The website said 1-3 days shipping. On the 3rd day we noticed the order said processed and we still didn't have a tracking #. We emailed and they said orders can take up to 4 days to process and that when it did we would get a tracking #. If we log in from work it shows my name on the order, if we log in at home it doesn't show the order at all. Today after no word I decided to call and was told there was an attempted delivery today. If we had known the damn thing was coming we would have been around to get it. Irritates me that companies have all of this tech at their disposal and still manage to screw it up. We don't care about the timing, we care about not having the info promised. We ordered headsets from http://www.wingstuff.com the following day as well as eBay items that have all arrived. I think they are actually doing drop shipping, which again is fine. Just TELL the customer what is going on. Full review pending on the helmet if it fits! Frank

I have been having trouble with signing in lately and today I did some checking and found that my virus software by CA Internet Security was apparently blocking me from signing in. The software had enabled the "Protected Mode" of my browser and would not allow me to log in. I would enter my user name and password and then it would log me in to the redirect screen and then I guess drop me back out of the log in. I had to diable that and enter the sites URL manually as an allowed site and then re-enabled protected mode and it has worked fine ever since. Don't really understand what caused it to do it because I was logging in okay just last week. I went out of town for a week and when i came back I couldn't log in. Anyone else out there have CA Security software? That's how I fixed it.

Just posting a link for an individual who is on a wonderful mission, raising awareness about cancer, survival, and hope. If there are any members in Washington state that would like to meet up with Terry and log a few miles just let me know. I have offered him a place to stay for the night and some home cooking here on Camano Island. http://www.terrysbigadventure.com/ Thanks everyone! Larry AKA Silverdeer

Yes I really did say that, but there’s a good reason. You see, if it was riding season I would be missing out on riding for at least a few days because of a little mishap earlier today with a 20-ton log splitter. The wife and I were splitting more firewood this afternoon because “Global Warming” hasn’t kept things nearly as warm as advertised and we’ve been burning wood since late September. You’d think that I would be an experienced “hand” with the log splitter by now, but apparently not as I managed to insert my left index finger between a log and the end stop on the splitter. OUCH! Nothing appears to be broken, but I did lose some hide and the ‘meat’ appears to be pretty mashed. Darn thing is still leaking a bit and the little accident happened seven hours ago. Looking on the bright side, at least its still winter and riding season is at least a month away, probably more than that here. I think it will be a while before my finger can stand the little vibration we get in the handlebars.

My 86 V max is selling on Ebay Sunday night. It's currently at only $1600. I hope it brings much more but I priced it to sell. Winter is coming and no room in the shed. I'm freeing up the cash flow and pouring a ton of money into the new property. The land owner is giving me a 3 year NO INTEREST contract deal. So what I still owe after three years must be financed. Toys can be replaced but mamamo wants that property for a new log home someday.
