Anyone coming to DC for this? If so I'd love to see if we could get together for lunch and you'd be more than welcome to ride with myself, the missus and a couple others. As always, I have a guest room as well if lodging is an issue as long as you don't mind dogs! Csogbk

I was wondering where is everybody staying at Meramec State Park in MO. It's going to be here before we know it. I was looking up some of the sites on the computer. I came up with this one below, but I don't know if this is the correct place or not. I also want to know if the dates are the same as what I copied. August 23rd - 25th. For the person that is setting this up, I plan on being there. I rode to Vass this saturday to see Steve and meet Earl from Pa. He's bumming around and fixing bikes for food and lodging until he has to go back to work or his bride tells him to come home. I didn't think my bike run that bad but Earl synced the carbs and put in two plugs and now I have a new bike. Earl has been invited to my house for steaks and lodging if he will put in the two front plugs; I think he's coming. Anyway, thanks Steve and Earl.

Hey all, I'm heading on a bike trip with some family members (our annual trip) and I'm trying to find some lodging near Manistique, MI. We're trying to keep the cost as low as we can. There will be 7 or 8 of us. Any input would be appreciated.

Just a reminder that any of you that were thinking about riding to Cody Wy next year, your chance to put in your 2¢, and pick a date that'll work for you, is ending next week on the 21st. We need your input. Cody'09 is going to be a low key affair with some great rides, a few meet'n'eats, with a last night diner gathering wrapped around some great riding in some awesome country. Some of the planning wheels are already in motion. We've started looking into T-Shirts, and lining up some inexpensive... as best we can...lodging. The lodging search can kick into gear in earnest once you decide on the date. So we need your vote. CODY'09 POLL

I would like your opinions on this. Our local riding group is having a 20th anniversary rally the first week in Aug. They have arranged for food and lodging at a Junior College and have set the registration at $199.00 per person ($398.00 for me and the wife). I asked what the cost would be without the lodging as we have a cabin nearby. The response I received was that the rally price is all inclusive and "the entire cost of the event is minimal, to the extreme, which permits just about anyone who can afford to ride a motorcycle, afford this event" Maybe I should sell the bike?
