Started up the 87 VR today and pumping fuel onto the ground behind the center stand. It looks like it is coming from the bottom front of the fuel tank. Only running out (very heavy) when engine is running. Is the fuel pump located there? Is there information on taking it apart so I can determine what is leaking? Thanks for the help Mike

When cold,everything works fine...stop for gas and the neutral light goes out and nothing at all completely dead....fifteen minutes later all is well...neutral light comes on and away I go....thinking the neutral sensor? ...is it located behindthe cover on left side with looks like 2 wires on plastic....pain to change?

Hello, The air suspension isn't working on my 1986 Venture Royale XVZ13T DS/DSC. According to the error message it should be a faulty pressure sensor (Yamaha part no. 31M-85981-00-00) and I bought that sensor already. But here is the point: I cannot find the original sensor on the bike to replace it !!!!!!!! According to Yamaha's very rough scetches it should be located somewhere around the speedometer or levelling computer panel. Can somebody help me out with the exact location of that sensor? I have a 2006 RSTD, I am about to pull both tires off to have new ones put on, I have read and book marked several threads that I am sure will help alot. I read that i shpuld download and read the service manual and was wondering where it is located. I have the owners manual but that is all. Is there any other manuals I should download or get? This is a great site, thanks to all that help. -
Where exactly is the front plug located? I just purchased 2 83s with CB's and i cant seem to find the front helmet plug. The back one is located in the same place as it was on my 85 i used to have. I havent dug into it much, but i plan on tearing both bikes apart to make one good bike. Also there is no push to talk switch for the CB. I'm just a little confused on how that works too, but any information would be much appreciated. Thank you CJ

Has anyone done this recently? I'm reading the procedure in the book but I'm not gasping it.. adjust at the handle and then at carb end? and then the cruise control end? Where is that located? (page 3-16 3-17) I have a lot of slop in the throttle that I need to tighten up once and for all..

I just bought my 89 Venture Royale and when I press the Horn button I can hear the Relay clicking. I have looked all over the inside of the fairing and around the bike for the horn(s) and can not locate them? Not sure if they are missing or if I am not looking in the correct place. Can anyone tell me where they are located from the factory? I've looked at the wiring diagrams but still no luck. Don't like not having a horn............ Pictures would be awesome if available. THANKS!! -
Im in North East Missouri and have a great interest in making some trips to rallys, or whatever that the wife and I can enjoy. Where are these meets located at? How can I keep up with them. Hopeing to find events within a few hundred miles.

"On New Year's Eve, some patrons came in here and they said, ‘Did you notice the shoe tree got chopped down?' and everybody is in disbelief," said Greg Del Pepozzo, owner of a local store. "We went and looked out the window and it's not there anymore." Churchill County Sheriff Ben Trotter said it did not happen on private property and may not be a crime, but they are looking into whether it was vandalism. The Nevada Tourism Commission said the tree got its name after an argument between newlyweds, during which one tossed the others shoes in the tree. When they reconciled, the other reciprocated, and people have thrown shoes into the tree ever since. A memorial where the tree was located is planned for 2:30 p.m. Feb. 13.

Garfield on the oil crisis A lot of folks can't understand how we came To have an oil shortage here in Canada . Well, there's a very simple answer - Nobody bothered to check the oil. We just didn't know we were getting low. The reason for this is purely geographical. Our oil is located in: ALBERTA SASKATCHEWAN BRITISH COLUMBIA MANITOBA COASTAL NEW BRUNSWICK COASTAL NEWFOUNDLAND Our DIPSTICKS are located in OTTAWA Any Questions ??? NO ?... Didn't think so.

After all the probs I had on the bike this summer with electricals on the engine, I opted to pick up a new ignition module (D3K) just for the peace of mind kinda thing.. Erhm can someone point out as to where this is located on the bike? None of the docs I have even mention it let alone say where it is.. Thanks in advance..

Ok, I just saw my first close up of a 2000MM on Ebay and I gotta know if the (Instrument pod with tachometer and water temp guage) is available anywhere. This is located on the switch cover and looks really cool to me. Anyone know if this part is still in production or why its not on later versions?

HAD A NICE WEEKEND AND DID SOME RIDING ON SATURDAY. ABOUT 30 MILES INTO THE RIDE I LOOK DOWN AND MY TEMP GUAGE HAD STOPPED WORKING. FAN COMES ON AS NORMAL, NO BLOWN FUSES. I DONT KNOW WHERE THE TEMP SENSOR IS LOCATED NOT SURE IF THIS WOULD EVEN BE THE PROBLEM. HAS ANYONE ENCOUNTERED THIS, GOT ME STUMPED COULD USE SOME HELP WITH THIS ONE.
