I've been sitting back watching all the info over the proposed weapons bans over the last few weeks. Won't even go there. No desire or need to. Don't intend to either. So please keep with my theme. But I ran across this listing this morning on eBay and it cracked me up. It's nice to see someone still is keepinng a sense of humor during all this. I was surfing craigslist and came acrossed a 99RSV listed here in central NY for $8000.00. I couldn't help myself, I replyed to the add and told him he should check ebay and other listing and he will see that 99's are selling for under $6000.00. Most are selling around $5000.00. I know I should have mined my own business. But really, $8000.00!

Hey all: was on ebay tonight and saw an 07 venture listed, has studded seats, and chrome emblem on saddlebags which makes me think it is an 06, anyway the listing states it has a weather channel, band, does it really have a weather channel as according to my owners manual for my 07, i can't find anywhere where my 07 has a weather band. appreciate any imput cause I would really use a weather band if mine had one. I looked into listing my Steering Ring Nut Wrench on Amazon and it appears I have to be a Professional Seller in order to do it. This is because there is no other listing for the wrench currently on Amazon that I could find. A regular seller does not appear to be able to create a new item. Is this accurate? Professional Seller is $39.99 a month. I don't think it would be worth that to me to list them on there. Any way around this? Gary

I don't think I am having a mirage but maybe so.Up until yesterday there was a white RSV in the classifieds for sale for 7200.00 or 8900.00 with color matched trailer.I wrecked my dream bike an 08 tour deluxe going to Death Valley on the 11th of this month and the insurance co wants to total it.I want a Venture now and thought that white one would be perfect but the listing has disappeared.Anybody know why or remember who the seller was or have his contact info? I think it was in Tulsa but not sure now.There is no record of it being sold it is just gone.Any help would be appreciated or in finding another one.

Where would I find the listing for the head bolts in the parts fiche? 1988 1300 MKII I have looked in the Head & crankcase sections, as well as others, but I can't seem to find them. I may need to replace a few here in a few weeks, may not need to. Just trying to find a listing for them. Anybody got a recommendation on procedure to remove them from the crankcase? Normally I use Partshark.com Gary

The 09 RSV I recently bought had origionally been listed on ebay. I had not seen that listing and was not aware it had been listed. I found it on the dealerships listing as the origional owner traded it on a new Goldwing. Exrsa1 notified me seen the listing on ebay and actually sent me a link to it. I emailed the guy who owned it since the listing showed some extra "goodies" that went with it. HE STILL HAS THEM !!!!!!! 2 other windshields. A short, med then the one that on it now. The origional tires with 1,000 miles on them. Repair manual, Road king pipes with the mounting brackets. Factory air cleaner covers and replacement air filters. We made arrangments for me to get the spare items, and I am returning to him his garage door opener part that is hooked into the headlight which he had forgotten about. What a great site and great people like exrsa1 really make it what it is.

Just wondering why, you can hit the Community and it is only the listing for Canada and US. We have so many international members now, is there a way to list the other countries where we have members. Just a question, I really do not want you to have to go to any more trouble. You already have enough to do. Actually, never mind. Yama Mama

Wife decided since she has only ridden a few times in the last 2 years (1000 miles or less) we should sell her bike and use the $$ elsewhere. But she did throw in that she will get another in a few years. I am listing in the VR Classifieds.

Great gathering in Gautier last Saturday for the yearly CMA sponsored 'Blessing of the Bikes' Local media estimated about 1000 bikes showed up. I counted 5 other Ventures in the crowd. Sadly wasn't able to find the owners before they rode off. On a side note the local multi brand stealership has a new 2010 Venture on the floor listing at $19,600.00 Only difference I see is the flame decals on the fairing, tank,bags. Anyone in the area interested, we're doing a ride to Camp Shelby (Hattiesburg) Armed Forces Museum tomorrow, 3/27. Will be there about 1030 or so.

This may be my first time of getting burned on eBay. I hope not. I bought a set of chrome fairing hole covers on a BIN bid from a seller named "awfulhaunted" on October 29th. I paid as soon as I comfirmed my bid. The seller posted that there was free shipping on the BIN for domestic shipping. The PayPal totaled in the shipping on the sale so I went ahead and paid the full billing. I contacted the seller the next day and he did refund the shipping promptly. Still kept the item price in full. Fixed, or so I thought. So I waited.. Then a few days later I get a notice from eBay that a listing I had been watching had relisted. I popped it up and what do I see but the same side covers, same pic, same exact listing I had already paid for. So I contacted the seller requesting info on the shipping as I had seen the new listing and was concerned that there may have been some confusion because of the refunded shipping. Got a response that they had been shipped via FedEx......not UPS as stated in the listing. No tracking number was provided. That was on 11/06/09. He did explain that the new listing was another set that I had just got from another bike. Er...yeah....ok.....sure. And I waited... So I contacted him again today requesting the tracking info as I see someone has bid on the second listing. Haven't heard from him yet. If not by tonight I guess I'll have to start a claim on the guy. It's been going on two weeks and not much happening. So the listings were: Item# 300361849 for the ones I bought. Item# 300364426 for the second listing. Look alike to me...... Guess I'll try to put a cork in this guy before he sells this set again. I hope I'm wrong on this. So anybody had dealings with this guy?

Would it be possible to add a feature to the member listing that will allow us to sort on city? I'm taking a trip and trying to find members in the city I am going to, but it requires scrolling through all of the Texas members. Appreciate it.

Good morning my brothers. I have been trying to list a bike on 2nd gen listing and when I finish filling everything out and hit submit it goes back to step one as if I am being given the option to list somthing else but my listing doesnt get posted? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Anyone familiar with Kuryakyn know what the heck these cotton pickin' things are called. I've been all over the site and I guess I'm not looking in the right place. 'Cause I can't find them??? Figured a member that's into chrome might know. Or maybe it's not Kuryakyn??? The first pic is the footpeg assembly, and the last couple are a top and bottom shot of the spacer that I'm trying to find a listing and price for??
