And some people think senior's don't catch on to technology! The video is in German, but all you need to know is the young lady is asking Grandpa how he likes the new IPod they got for him. http://www.snotr.com/video/8965/

hey everyone I am looking for a new bike for next summer and the venture is really looking good from all of the research I have done on this bike. I am thinking about getting one between 06-08. Can you guys put in some inputs on the bike. EXAMPLES: Like is it smoothing riding. Plenty of power for 2 people. how well it steers. Does it have high rpms at highway speed like 75mph. Stuff like that, And things you like about the bike and things you don't like about the bike. Thanks

i've did some searching of old threads and seems that most say the odyssey is a great battery. i was just wondering why there seems to be more batteryies with a higher cca raiting than the odyessey but seems the majority likes the odyessey?

I am thinking of buying a pellet gun for varmit control. I was looking at the Gamo Hornet and the Beeman Grizzly X2. They are both around $90 on sale give or take. Any one own one? Likes? Dis-likes? I want to stay in the $100 or less range. Not looking to drive tacks at 100 yards.

Got my new to me 2000 with 31k last fall and am needing to check valves and a carb sync (anyone in the area that may be able to help with the sync). Do you think these things could help with the little bit of popping I have on downshift. I also have been getting 32-35mpg no matter how i drive. I am one who likes speed but even when i have tried to drive easy 35mpg is all. Would there be more of a carb issue than the sync, etc. Thanks for your thoughts, Larry

03 RSV 16K miles in my favorite color. Need a larger garage now. Love the sound of the RK pipes and the mechanical harmony. Feels and Sounds like driving a 70 Chevelle SS454. It doesn't accelerate like the MkII but the wife likes the ride much better and the more relaxed feel doesn't encourage me to do as many banzai runs. Will keep me in better standing with LEO.

Gail and I got married 27 years ago today. I won't lie, we have had our ups and downs like everyone else, but I wouldn't trade our life together for anything else. She is a wonderful, understanding wife and great mother to our son and daughter. I sometimes don't know how she has put up with me all these years. I can honestly say that she is the best part of my life. Oh....and she likes to ride as much if not more than I do.

Greetings all, Thanks to the information I have found here on the greatest web sit in the world, I was able to gather the courage to do some upgrades to my '84. 1. I have installed new horns, with a seperate circuit 2. Rear LED running/brake lights 3. Exhaust turn down tips located on eBay 4. NOS Venture Luggage Rack Thanks to Interlakes Sports Center, Madison, SD great guys to work with. I think the main reason that Doug Koch, co-owner, really likes to help me out with the Venture is that he had one as a Demo in 1983-85. He told me that it was one of the best bikes he had ever ridden. Again, thanks to all you that have shared your know-how with these great bikes. Dave

OK, so we've got freezing rain outside today and I'm working on a couple summer tour camping trips. These trips will be about a week to 10 days in length and we like staying in State camp grounds (Better half likes the hot Showers and clean restrooms). Anyway, my 2 man timberline backpacker tent is on its last leg and to be honest, its getting a little tight with all the necessities we/she likes to bring along. So, here is the question: "What advise can you all give me on tents that are compact for strapping on and roomie at the same time.

Well i must say thanks to all for the tips and to this site for all the good info. I have saved a chunk of money by not having to go to the stealer for repairs besides "they dont work on old bikes like mine". So i have changed all the fluids and Im going to do some minor repairs on the plastic, install new seals and progressive springs just as soon as they arrive next week. With the info on this site it should be a piece of cake. After that me and some of the guys are riding to the Ozarks for a little fun. Everybody at work likes my bike and says they wish they had a cb and a radio and all that trunk space. Im happy because i told the wife i wanted a bike ( havent had a bike since i sold the cb 900 12 years ago) but it had to have a windshield and a good back seat so the both of us could ride easy. Well i must say momma is very happy with the rear seat and the view. She says she likes to ride on THIS motorcycle. So i guess were keepin it.
