Well new to me anyway. I just bought a 1990 Goldwing Trike. I can't believe that after 25 years on Ventures I will be riding something else esp a Goldwing. All is not lost I do still have my 87 VR for 2 wheeling.I pick up the trike on Monday and will bring it down to Spring City and then try and learn how to ride it on the rural roads down here.I hope this old dog is up to learning a few new tricks.I'll post pictures when I get it home. The wing is nice,it is the SE model and has the reverse, and the deluxe sound system and cb radio. It is pearl white with polished aluminum wheels on the back and the PO just put a new timing belt and new rear tires on it.Of course it has cruise control and is already wired for heated clothing, tho the PO's jacket won't fit me.The trike kit is by TriKing out of Florida. They make a very nice kit that is longer then the standard kits and rides lower so the driveline has a level shot to the rear end and an automatic leveling system like many high end cars do.Because of the way it is set up the front end has 2.5 degrees more rake then normal so it steers easier or so the trike people say.Lots of new things to be finding out and a big learning curve both in riding skills and maintenence info.

I was putting some stuff away for Winter and found this shiny Midnight Venture in the corner of my garage. I think I liked riding it but might need some help learning how to ride it again. What do you think Don you up for giving some lessons?

This was a quick video from the trip back from MD. It was my first attempt at videoing while riding. The Youtube quality isn't as good as the original. It's also kinda shaky, I left my vent open, so there's more wind noise, and the sun was at our back, degrading the quality even more. I promise, it wasn't as scary as it looks. The music isn't added. It is from my stock stereo and MP3 at 70-80 mph, and doesn't sound too bad. We were having a blast...making memories. Angel is learning how to make the videos now, so I can concentrate on my driving. Hope you enjoy it. Go to full screen, and turn the sound up. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dla8PqzKNn0]YouTube- Going home from MD 2010[/ame]

OK, who wants to get together in the Dallas/Fort Worth area sometime in January to check float levels and/or valves? I already have one guy who is interested, but we have not set a date yet - if there are two or three others, maybe we can find a date that works for everyone? Let me know if you are interested, Goose Another offer: If you just want someone to do the work, instead of learning how to do it yourself, I'll do that too. I'll set floats and idle mixture for $150, valves for $300, or both together with new plugs for $375 (plus any parts needed, such as gaskets).

Who out there has a Smoker and uses it? I just got mine a few weeks ago and I'm still in the learning stages. I did smoke a pretty darn good chicken last week. I am open for tips, ideas and secrets.
