I'm thinking a part was lost when I had my tires changed. I see an oil seal on the brake side of the hub that isn't sealing anything. I've attached a pic of what I've got. If that's what happened, does anyone have a spare laying around?

On my last road trip, my right lower wind deflector bracket broke on my 99 RSV. I didn't realize how well they work until I had to go without them. I've tried brazing and welding and now I am ready to just replace it. Does anyone have one laying around that you would be willing to part with or know where I can get one other than the Yamadealer.

Wanting to modify a stock gear shift lever. Second Gen. Anyone have an extra one laying around they would let go? I actually have 1" shorter single aftermarket I would trade for a good stocker. Can send a pic of mine if your interested. Thanks.

an extra front reflector off of a rsv......I seem to have lost one of mine...I'll pay for shipping if you have one laying around that your not using...:whistling:I don't think it matters but its the right front that I'm missing

don't use cb,haven't even got antenna on bike, if I remove cb unit from the bike and stash it away, will all of the other audio stuff still work? Just wondering before I go to the trouble.(unless someone has an old cb antenna laying around the want to part with kinda cheap) 2nd gen........

I need help. The oil pipe delivery broke and is putting out some kinda oil. I tried cutting it and using a piece of hose but to not much avail. If you got one laying around please PM me.

Looking to cut down a shield and paint. Wondering if anyone has a used one to part with. Some scratches OK and cracks OK if only above top support 4" or so. Thanks I'd ask for an extra quick disconnect mount but I doubt anyone has one of those laying around! -

Geesh, I'm at it again. Onto another odd project. Before I get into what I'm going to try do this time I thought I'd check and see if anybody has access to any scraps of heat shrink tubing in a diameter of 2" with a wall thickness of around .045. I figure a piece about 6" long would let me find out if this is workable or not. A few pieces would give me some room for failure. (I'm betting on that) Just thought I'd shake the cage to see if anyone had some short ones laying around before I order a chunk from McMaster-Carr just to find out my idea don't work. Like everybody has 2" shrink tubing laying around right? Mike -
I know a lot of you have seen the Youtube video on changing a Goldwing tire by laying the bike on it's side. I was wondering has anyone tried to do this with the RSV? If you start by taking off the saddlebags and the axle nut, couldn't this be done by laying the bike on the left side? I know there's more that has to be done, like taking off the brake caliper and stay, and the right exhaust muffler, but has anyone tried this? It looks like it would work if you're out in the boonies somewhere and don't have access to a lift.

About a year or so ago, I was on a trip and when I started to down shift, my shift lever was dangling from the rod and laying on the footboard. The allen head bolt that mounts it to the bike had come out, and gone. I managed to use a cable tie to connect it back to the bike and able to get to the nearest AutoZone to buy a metric bolt that would fit. I hadn't thought anymore about that since it happened until today. My buddy came down around lunch time and said "you'll never believe what happened to me on the way to work this morning!" Yep, his shifter allen head bolt vibrated out. Lucky for him, it was laying on the floorboard and he put his foot on it until he could stop and put it back in. Suggest every one take a minute and check that bolt and maybe a little lock tite wouldn't hurt. MIKE aka Uturn

Please say a prayer for my wife and I. Our 28 year old daughter passed away in her sleep on October 15th. We have just returned from Canada after laying her to rest and are trying to deal with the grief and sorrow. The autopsy results will take 5 to 6 months:95:

I have a strange question here, does anyone have a set of the driving light brackets that I made that they didn't install on their bike? I just bought a spare rear shock cheap but there is a slash in the rubber boot. What im looking for is someone who may have a bad rear shock laying around who could cut off the rubber boot and send it to me so I can "bond" it to the shock I have now. Ill cover shipping of course. Thanks.....

So my buddy had his manometer laying on the garage floor with half of the Mercury laying right next to it. I tried everything from a syringe to scooping up with a flat piece of paper and could only get half back in. He decided to let me have the now useless gueges. Is it trash? can I purchase or collect enough from old thermostats or can I substitute someother material for mercury? -
Does anyone have a Pair of Original pipes laying around for the 2e Gen Venture. Finally I got my wife Going with me on the Bike ..But the Problem is ..My Open Pipes are to Loud for her I know many people replaced there Original pipes for other brand pipes....And I'm hoping that someone have pipes laying around that I can buy from them for a good price.

WATCH OUT when approaching gas pumps!!!!!! Somebody either spilled gas or oil....put my foot down and it just slid out from under me! Came SO close to laying it over. But....no donation this time!

I have an extra set of front forks that came with my bike that the previous owner nought "just in case". I really don't think I need them as I don't believe I have any problem with my current ones. If I sold them to someone here who might need them, I have no idea what they're worth, and I'm not one to hold onto something that I "may" need someday as I have to much stuff already laying around. Any suggestions? Thanks, Woody

OK, here's one of the things I'm still looking for to detail out my '84. The two plastic caps that plug the recess in the top of the risers where the handlebars bolt in. I've never seen them on the bikes I've seen and just noticed the caps in the part breakdowns while looking to replace some other parts. Before I begin chasing in cyberspace to make sure they are still available (I found a couple that claim they are) I thought I might ask if anyone had an extra set laying around that needed a good home. Part# 26H-26133-00-00 Between those and my project to replace the tripmeter reset button I'm about there, I think, unless I find out something else is missing. LOL!
